The Premier League is also at a historic low. The team that is sitting in 2nd spot currently and won the league last season can't get out of their CL group for the second year running, with 0 wins even at home. The team that is sitting in 3th spot currently had 4 managers in the past 2 years + they have Torres upfront. Arsenal have lost their best players in the past 2 seasons. Liverpool are a midtable team by now etc. The league is in unbelievably poor state quality-wise with only United remaining stable. Benitez' Liverpool. Mourinho's Chelsea. Never did understand why people judge the strength of an entire league on CL participants.

There's 20 teams not 3 or 4.

Anyway the PL has had a participant in the CL final in 7 out of the last 8 seasons and the current holders are from the PL.

Don't mean to turn this into a league v league BS fest but the logic is terrible.

Man U is underrated because their only real 2 standout players are Rooney and RVP. The rest are great players but not ones you would consider superstars in any sense I guess.

But they're so fking good, they're so decisive, so clinical, and adaptable. The teamsheet might not show it but to me right now they're one of the best teams out there, despite the fact that they don't have a midfield. What Ferguson's this season is very impressive.

That being said, they have their weaknesses. I still expect them to beat Madrid handily.

I doubt he'll continue as Man City's manager next season. Man City do deserve credit for winning the EPL last year, however they did kind of get lucky with the Aguero last minute goal. In the CL he didn't manage to get into the last 16.

Rodgers could be out of his depth, but if he gets above 7th place, breaking their 2 year same standings, he could save his job.

As for Mancini....its really a gamble, i mean he did win them 2 trophies and this year he got 2nd place...is not THAT bad, although his CL run does do some damage....

It's more due to the fact that he doesn't know what he is doing sometimes than not winning a trophy.
Buying someone like Sinclair was just useless.
Fortunately for him he kept Tevez, the guy is saving his ass righ now
As he doesn't have a real game plan sometimes guys like Nasri,Dzeko,Kolarov and even Maicon are not playing their best ( you have to give them clear instructions especially Nasri lol )

I like the way he manages his men though. He is a bit like Wenger IMO
