Bayern are getting more South American players

There're reports from Italy that Bayern won the race for Juan Manuel Vargas against FC Liveprool and Zenit St.Pertersburg ( not official yet). The agreed terms are 10 millions € and a loan spell for Diego Contento at Fiorentina. Contento's inclusion seems to have swayed Fiorentina's officials instead of a 15 million € offer made by Liverpool/Zenit.

Lahm----Boateng----Goodstuber---Vargas would be a pretty solid back four if you ask me.

The other guy is Claudio Pizzaro. Bayern negotiate with him about a possbile transfer. He would be Gomez backup instead of Olic/ Petersen.

Vargas is a poor defender, much better winger.

Vargas doesnt play LB anymore..It has been ages since he played there.

Besides he is not a great defender.Infact Alaba defensively >than vargas imo.Bayern should not tinker with that position imo.There arent many great LB's around and for reasonable prices and it would be wiser to continue playing him at LB.

Alaba is better choice, but nevertheless Vargas will be a good signing especially if Contento goes on loan and Pranji Olic leave.

Vargas, Rafinha, Lahm and Alaba. That's one attacking wing play, plus any of those guys can also play as winger.

Rafinha,Lahm, Shaqiri and Robben on the right.
Vargas, Alaba, Shaqiri and Ribery on the left.

Plus Muller, Schweini and Kroos can play on the wings.

Pizarro will be a 3rd choice ST behind Gomez and Dzeko.
