No I'd say tier C is about right.I mean , he gets credit for the goals, and his carreer has been a pretty productive one.He's at the bottom end of tier c right about now...below people like Schevchenko et al.

He'll play for a long time tho...he'll probably end up in tier B one day, possibly even tier A , although I wouldn't expect the latter.

its not about scoring true, but you guys make it out as if scoring is so easy.

I think Ronaldo can make a claim for tier 2 or B or whatever. I think he is in there, he is one of the most prolific and versatile scorer i have ever seen. I rate him higher than the likes of Sheva at least.

Well, hes not Tier A that's for sure. I wouldn't put Messi there either, though he will be there by the time he retires 100%. Hell, at this rate he might form a holy trinity with Pele and Maradona FFS.

Ballon d'Ors mean nothing any more after 2010. If he wins something with Portugal, certainly possible, and becomes a Madrid legend, very likely, he would be consiedered best Portugese of all time. Id say the most he can reach is Tier B, thats being optimistic. Which is an amazing achievement for any footballer, its just not GOAT. Which is fine. We dont need him to be any better than he is, we accept him as he is.

again if messi wasn't around, the world would be sucking ron off just because of his stats alone, add the fact he has power, good with both feet, great at headers, passing at times can be above average(needs work), he is more than a elite player, he is only second to messi in this era, the gap is not that huge either just different style of plays imo
