Re: Hertha BSC v Bayern Munich
Well, King Rehakles will have started mixing concrete since Bayern defeated Hoffenheim, but Hertha only need one lapse of concentration and they will get into trouble. It will depend on how serious Bayern will take that game - if the players consider it a given that they win, a scoreless draw is well possible. If they concentrate and convert the chances, Bayern have an advantage. Hertha is possibly a very good chance to try and take down a team that will possibly have everybody including the mascot defending. The main problem is that Rehagel really knows how to set up a team to defend well.

Yeah! 1-0 Bayern and a weird looking goal but a great celebration from Mueller. Put his hands in the air and jump up a few times with a great expression on his face. Gotta love Thomas Mueller <3

And just after I'm done writing that, Bayern add a second goal from Arjen Robben. 2-0

go to usagoals.com and click on the first Hertha Berlin Bayern Munich link.
Mueller now wins a penalty that Robben converts for 3-0. Moments after Robben almost gets a hat trick but misses his chance. So much for a let down game!

Re: Hertha BSC v Bayern Munich
I'm looking forward to the Real-Bayern match-up (provided of course, Bayern defeat Marseille and Real APOEL - one should never take any CL knock-out win for granted).
For me it will be most interesting to see Manuel Neuer and Iker Casillas testing their mettle against each other, and of course I'm curious how Holger Badstuber will fare against Real's attacking power.

Re: Hertha BSC v Bayern Munich
Real v Bayern will probably be the match of the UCL season. Not necessarily because they're the two best sides, but because they're the two sides in the competition playing the most attractive football.
Tactically they're both suited to later go on and beat AC Milan in the final

Re: Hertha BSC v Bayern Munich
I see what you did there
Madrid vs. Bayern is also one of the classic European rivalries. Most people have forgotten these sort of rivalries, due to Juve, Liverpool and plenty of others missing or stuttering in the CL, but they usually make for awesome matches.
Bayern have the advantage when it comes to this rivalry, IIRC .
