Because you would have got completely destroyed by the remaining contenders in the next round anyway. At least now its just a little bit embarrassing against a well organized Dechamps team, but not very surprising considering the hopeless Serie A play this year.

thats what my thoughts is. marseille wasnt spectacular, they were just organized a bit better than inter but my god inter had so many chances. sneijder missed, miltio missed in first half. forlan he is complete disaster. i have never seen him like this ever before.

midfield was so poor. still i thought ranieri should have kept sneijder and let stankovic come off. with cambiasso and obi in. frankly forlan shouldnt have even started.

then there is pazzini. i would be shocked if prandelli plays pazzini as a starter in any game in azzurri.,

inter first touch was so poor . the entire team is so disorganized i was just wondering which midfield is playing which position.

anyway good for us milan fans, im happy but sad at the same time because inter qualy would have given serie a even a small amount of contribution in coefficient points.

im rooting for napoli to get the job done at wembley even though i hate them.

Somehow Inter messed up even worse than we did a few years ago, when we had Huntelaar and Boriello up front lol.

This game cemented even in my mind how Ranieri has completely lost the plot with his substitutions and starting STANK instead of Cambiasso.

Marsielle deserved to go through one hundred percent even if Inter were the better side overall in both legs.

I for one am quite happy by this news.

yep even though he missed that sitter, wesley was the main provider ... forlan confused the whole movement upfront. wesley should have stayed actually there were couple of really good set pieces situation for inter that he might have put in....

for me obi was best alongsider sneijder for inter

Yeah he was main provider its like cutting the roots of a tree and expecting it to survive it will go 1-2 days max and they it will die .

Ranieri should and must start Obi and Poli along with Sneijder and Alvarez 4-3-2-1 ? I find it as the best solution shame that they've missed Carlito

To attacking but only those can bring results I mean they are inter ffs plus wit Gaurin or Palombo there is going to be a good balance

Looking at Inter's team I have to laugh at how many superior players are being benched.

I seriously cant see how anyone can blame Ranieri.Snejder got injured btw. The team is just old,like how we were . Maicon,Lucio,Stankovic,Forlan,and Samuel are near their careers end. They get tired make very bad individual mistakes like Lucios crappy mistake today.

if you dont see how anyone could blame Ranieri I find it highly unlikely that you are capable of seeing anything at all
