Caceres could miss the trip to Fiorentina

The Uruguay international, who rejoined the Bianconeri on loan in January, picked up a minor knee injury in Sunday's 0-0 draw with Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris.
Juventus could be forced to make do without the services of Martin Caceres for this weekend's Serie A clash with Fiorentina.

The 24-year-old, who rejoined the Bianconeri on loan from Sevilla during the January transfer window, suffered a knee injury in last Sunday's 0-0 draw with Genoa.

According to Tuttosport, the Old Lady are optimistic that Caceres will recover in time to face the Viola at the Artemio Franci.

Juve will be boosted by the fact that Leonardo Bonucci is available for selection again after serving a one-game suspension, while Giorgio Chiellini is also poised to return after recovering from a calf problem. However, Andrea Barzagli remains doubtful for the clash against the Viola.

Meanwhile, Tuttosport also claims that Fiorentina are sweating on the fitness of star forward Stevan Jovetic for the game on Saturday.

The Montenegrin is reportedly still struggling with the muscular problem he sustained in the 2-0 win over Cesena on March 4, and a decision will not be taken on his participation until Friday.

Fiorentina's clash with rivals Juventus kicks off at the Artemio Franchi at 20:45CET on Saturday.
