literally thousands of managers wish to have similarities with Mourinho. Pep should take it as a compliment

We have not won any CL/trophies by cheating :/ or are you talking about when alves exagerated contact? if so then no one wins any trophy cleanly, because most team have players that have acting skills and especially your team..

Well that's interesting. Just a few days ago he said 'We will continue to enjoy this clean competition [Champions League]'. It seems to me he's taking a shot at the spanish league. He's not as direct as Mourinho, he's more underhanded.
Then you have Barcelona players like Piqué or Daniel Alves who also complain about the referees. Or important figures inside Barcelona staff.
They pretend to be different, but they aren't.
Dani alves has never complained about the ref and last time was the first time that I can remember where pique has complained..
About what pep said, imo thats got more to do with the double standard the spanish FA has when it comes to someone criticizing the ref. Both mou and casillas have said much, MUCH worse things than what pique said and countless of times yet they got nothing while the 1st time pique open up his mouth BAM! reported...

Do you mean when he said barca have always been honest because thats not hypocrite, it might not be true but in that case that makes it a lie but not a hypocrite.
Edit: did pique really twit that? If so I cant stay mad at him for his form anymore

Re: Guardiola: Barcelona have always been honest...
Well if you want to get really tactical about it he said "Fking hypocrites" not "Hypocrite" which means he didn't mean Pep or at least not Pep alone, might be fans and/or players, and in this case you can't argue about his claim.harhar11 wrote:delaurentishotz wrote:Fking hypocrites ,

Moaning about the ref is for losers?
next day Dani: bla, bla , bla...
Pique: Followed.
ps notice that I said "tactical" giving you a case to reply to.

I'm a little disappointed with Guardiola tbh. He's complaining about referees, taking shots at Mou and now he pretends he's any different.

"I think what Guardiola said is normal. What I said, and will say again tonight, is that I am an imperfect coach, but everyone knows what my imperfections are. I don't try to hide my defects. Others are capable of doing that and are more intelligent than me. We are all imperfect and I talk about the things I don't like when I see them. Others are more intelligent and only talk for themselves."
Humble and respectful Mou.

Dude, are you kidding with that quote?
Mou claimed a European wide conspiracy through Uefa to engineer Barca beating Madrid in the CL and then claimed Pep cheated to win all of his CL titles which he was fined/suspended for with out a shred of any proof or evidence and looked like a total jackass.
Then in La Liga he claimed coach's were losing to Barca on purpose to give them the league over Madrid which is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
I mean I like you as a poster but come back to reality a little bit here, comparing that quote to what Mourinho has said over his time in La Liga (there are way more quotes I'm not even mentioning) is just astonishing.
I think people are starting to forget how bad it got with Mou last year and this thread is total proof of that. I would be mad too if I were Pep at comparing him to Mou as they are nothing alike at all and for people on here to say Pep is doing the same thing as Mou is just insanity.
I think Nick is the only Madrid fan that truely remembers how bad it got last year.
PS. Can you imagine what Mou would be saying this year (especially today) with the calls Madrid has been getting ALL YEAR if the roles were reversed? I mean if that's all you can find on Pep then yes he is a saint compared to Mou.

There I fixed his quote for him. I wouldn't want him to lie again.

Pep didn't say those things, other adults did, which he has limited control over.
That's like blaming Mou for stomping on Messi's hand. As I'm sure Mou has said, "we are not a dirty team" or something to that effect and then you saying, "see Mou's a liar, Pepe stomped on Messi hand, the team is dirty.
What your saying makes no sense.
These players are adults and responsible for what they say and do. Good luck being responsible for 25 adults who get interviewed constantly and then you being responsible for what these guys say and do.
I guess according to you Bielsa hangs out with Porno stars before Europa League games as well as that makes about as much sense as what your saying.

Fabregas wasn't a diver in EPL, two weeks in Barca he began diving left right and centre. Mascherano was one of the toughest SOBs in Barcelona, two weeks there he started diving as well and became allergic to contact. Pep definately is involved, deny it all you want. For me he is a hypocrite, but ewveryone is, what annoys me is that he tries to make out that he is innocent. For those that actualy watched the dream team, Pep practiced the dark arts as a footballer, he is not going o suddenly change. This is the real Pep.
PS Dnmac, stay off the anti depressants, I am actually worried about the state of your mental health.

cant wait for the day pep leaves barcelona, just so he can fail and people can see his "real managing talent"
hell with his group of players, even I could win back to back CL for the next 5 years

Seriously, what are you guys even arguing about?
Mourinho is a hypocrite, Pep is a hypocrite, what is the big deal? What are you guys trying to prove with all this back and forth? That your team comprises of saints?
Are you all a bunch of kids?

Re: Guardiola: Barcelona have always been honest...
Highly disagree, that was the whole point of Mourinho's recent comments up there, he can be an asshole, self centered, very flawed guy or whatever but he is very very honest, the complete opposite of a hypocrite. Not too say that he has always said the truth every single time in his life, but for football standards he has been very very open.kiranr wrote:

And it all boils down to who you are as a person and how you look at things. In my way of seeing things it bothers me a whole damn lot on how Guardiola is, how much he keeps inside, how much he values the high horse, the humble chest beating and the holier than thou bullshit.
Its almost unreal how opposite Guardiola and Mourinho are, like its a shitty staged reality tv show.

Mourinho is a big hypocrite. This facade about being honest, upfront and calling it like it is as much of a farce as Pep trying to be humble. For me, at least Pep tries.
Anyway, if you believe otherwise, good for you.
