Alba is worth more than 15 million, he is class. I would be deceived if he went to Barca.

It all depends whether they want to stick to trying to perfect the 3-4-3 or switch back to a conventional 4 defender format. I dont think that Alves-Pique-Alba, with Busquets as 3rd CB/DB, would be a stable enough defence.

Good for the system.....although i do have my doubt's in Alves ability to man mark a winger out of the game....and not having one of those is risky.I personally would prefer to have one of those so that defense can make adjustments to suit.

If wingers can operate efficently on both sides it's going to get very very tough for your centrebacks.

And i dont agree with Nick's notion that signing him means no CB.......

If Che is right about the 10 million fee, then that leaves 40m left......

I think bale would look like a much better defender at Barca actually.But mostly I think bale adds something they don't already have....something they genuinely don't have at any position...power , pace, he's an asset.Price....I'm not really taking it into consideration.

And In 3-5-2 i think it makes Bale more a tracker than a set defender....which is what Barca needs sometimes...someone to chase down a counter.

Grimaldo will probably be better than Alba in a couple years anyway.Muniesa should get some more playing time at the spot.

I don't want Alba, but this is what happens when your team lose League in February = transfer rumours will start to fly. Catalan, La Masia graduate playing in other team than Barcelona = another bring him home campaign from press to be able to wank in articles about 215621516252 La Masia players in the first team. Press should stop with transfer rumours for now. In last years Marca and AS were writting stories about summer transfers, now Catalan papers are doing that. That's what happens when you are behind leaders in the table

BTW, how long do you think will not good enough Fontas stay in the first team? He is crap but Catalan so won't be sold asap. Oleguer was bad but played 5 seasons in the first team I think Fontas will stay in 2012-13 season and then joins some La Liga relegation candidate, or mid table team - that's his level, he is not good enough for Barca.
