Abidal is out for 2 matches due to injury with the NT and Thiago has picked up a knock and we'll be able to know if he's available in a few days. Additionally, both Busi and Messi are suspended. If the match were away I'd be very worried, but thankfully it's home.

Thank god it's against Gijon @ home, who has been pretty bad this season (relegation zone).

Is Adriano fit yet? Or will we have to play 3-4-3?

I don't mind, Gijon at home should be fine. Most of our key players didn't play much anyway (Xavi, Iniesta..)

I feel that Gijon will park that bus and without Messi, the defence might be hard to break. But Alexis Sanchez is absolute quality, his chance to shine, now that the limelight isnt on messi.

Wow, when was the last time Messi was suspended? Hes got some silly yellows this season, many undeserved....unlucky...

Busquets and Messi is big miss....but we got the quality back up enough to win Smile

True, disciplinary cards really i doubt there was a single hard tackle in there..

if i remember correctly he got something like : Arguing/ insulting ref, handball, penalty playacting, handball...etc

This is the first time ever for him to sit out a 5 yellow card accumulation i think.
