Fifa comes out every year and I buy it every year. Gameplay imo is always different and always improving. Same goes with kits,graphics,players,features,benefits, etc

Call of Duty is the same shit. I can't stand it. I went to a midnight release for MW3 since i worked at Best Buy with 4 of my friends talking about how amazing it was going to be and how were going to play non stop.

Not even what 6-7 months later and it has not been touched. I even cancelled my xbox live because that was the only game I played.

It was the exact same thing. Campers, noobs, cheap tactics, drop shots, lag, unbalanced weapons, etc. I loved MW2 and MW but everything after that was poop. COD is a sinking ship but it will still sell millions... to 10-13 year olds.

Yeah Call of Duty is pretty similar when each new version comes out

But you gotta admit, this looks NOTHING like any other Call of Duty.

I think this game will be different because in past CoD's, they were often limited by the time period and sometimes the location (i.e. Black Ops didn't have the awesome weapons like aCR 6.8 and MP7). Now that they're in the future, CoD have complete creative control over the game. Guns, maps, perks, equipment, CoD can do literally anything now for Black Ops 2

I did notice it but then again that same element is introduced in every cod game the effect of being "different" from the last.
So now that it has futuristic weapons go ahead and call it CoD :Black Ops Future Warfare... Ghost recon: future soldier...


Weapons are never the issue. Gameplay is. Unrealistic gameplay... like halo jumping to directly into a prone position stuff like that kills the game even the spawing as well.

Zombies is the only positive I see then again how much zombies can I really play without getting tired of it? No doubt it will be fun as hell but il just wait for it and pick it up at a redbox or something

As someone who follows the CoD community, I can tell you that the people who play this game are very competitive. Some people will do whatever they can to win, if this includes dropshotting with a submachine gun then so be it. I myself am a very competitive player and yeah, I dropshot and yeah, since I switched to tactical I get a HUGE advantage in my gun fights because others haven't caught up yet.

So you can say the previous CoDs are unrealistic but you can't really say the next CoD is unrealistic because the next game is set in the future (and isn't even out yet)

Not being realistic, is actually one of the things I love about CoD. If you want realistic, get Battlefield, or one of the Tom Clancy games. You don't have to be an immature kid, just because you don't have the patience for games like that, and I prefer games that don't test my patience. They're games, after all; I want to be entertained, and CoD keeps me entertained. I agree that CoD brings little to the table in each new installment, but long-term-wise I'd still rather play "MW4" than "Battlefield 4", because the type of game that Battlefield is only keeps me interested for a short period of time.

Everytime Treyarch or Infinity Ward release a new CoD game, I find myself frustrated by their lack of guts/prioritization to come up with something completely new (probably due to lack of development time), but I'd still rather play good ol' CoD than any of the competitors that put more time and effort into the development of their games, but fail to keep me interested very long. I'm not an impatient guy, but I'm an impatient player. I don't care how good the graphics are, or how much time was spent developing the game, as long as it, to a certain extent keeps me entertained for months after I bought the game: and that's something the CoD developers have succeeded in doing, up until now. Black Ops 2 probably won't live up to my expectations, but if time allows it, I'll probably still be playing it several months after its' release.

technically the developers release a new version every 2 years. the world at war and black ops games are made by treyarch, and the modern warfare games are made by infinity ward.


activision publishes both, so they cake off of both series every year

News is coming out that the single player will have a 'choose your own story' path where your actions and decisions could potentially decide plot developments and character deaths

There is also news that the zombies mode multiplayer will not be limited to 4 players and could potentially increase to 6-8 players where some challenges/obstacles are unpassable if teamwork is not applied (reminds me of Portal 2 multiplayer)

I am going to wait for the reviews before making my mind about the game. I really hope it turns out to be great.

What I saw in this trailer:

-Dolphin diving.
-Gold camo
-Snipers with and without a scope
-Tomahawks (not throwing knives)
-Riot shields

Can't really see anything to do with Specialist though...

That air drone & ground drone seems like something that will piss me off easily ..

I will bet my bottom dollar that ground drone comes in a care package. Like the Juggernaut or Assault Drone. If it doesn't, then I can tell its already OP.

I don't like the look of the maps.

I wish they could just remake MW2 with different maps and a few perk changes.

They showed like 3 maps. There'll probably be like 12-15 maps.

Already pre-ordered it. I´m actually expecting it to be inferior to Black Ops and Modern Warfare 3, but with Call of Duty games you always get high replay value compared to most other games out there.

It'll probably break pre-order records since you get Nuketown with some pre-orders.
