He should be our starting leftback, no question in my mind about that.

He aint Abidal, but he sure as hell aint Alba either.

I really like Adriano, this season whenever he played and started hes played very well I thought, not to mention some great goals, as well as assists.

Alba seem to fit the system just that bit better, but for defensive focus, probably Adriano is stronger?

I just get the feeling Adriano deserves more chances for the performances hes had this season...

Im just glad though we got 2 such world class LB to choose from now Our problem is a top CB to partner Pique now

I think Adriano has got enough chances considering he gets injured every second game. But yeah, i prefer Adriano when Alves is played in high profile games.

...Why? He performs fine but we can't go on depending on a FB that is available 1/4 of the season

I ain't upset with this however I still think need a defensive leftback and Alba isn't leaving so I don't like that.

We need to figure out what's wrong him, he wasn't like this his first season or before this at Sevilla.

Why is it a stupid renewal, the only thing stupid is Tito's obsession of playing him CB and RB over other players (Bartra, Montoya)

If we lost Adriano, we not only need to buy a new CB but a backup LB, he is a versatile player which comes in handy, no one should dislike him we should dislike the way our coach uses him.

It's stupid because he is all the time injured. He has picked up like 6 or 7 muscular injuries this season alone. I remember at least 4 games where he had to be subbed off because of an injury.

He is a very good player, but can't be physically trusted. If someone is willing to pay for him, we should offload him. But he is friends with Rosell so...

I'm okay with offloading him if we get a good offer but so far that hasn't happened (atleast that we know), and we have enough problems as it is defensive wise losing our backup would just make things more complicated.

I think we gotta realise we won't be buying any fullbacks...

Unless some interesting offers come in, it'll be:

Alves/Monty - Pique/Bartra - *New*/Puyol/Masch - Alba/Adriano

A bit disappointing... I would have willingly parted with Adriano and Masch mainly to make room, but it won't happen now.

Not possible. Scored 2 similar last season, one with other leg.

That's 4th Adriano special in little over one season, 3 of them being essential.

It is remarkable how much better our defense has been with him in compared to Alba.
Yes,other factors have contributed but it cant be denied that Adriano is a far better defender than Alba.
