Zlatan Ibrahimovic to miss Juventus game as AC Milan's ban appeal is rejected
The Swedish striker will have to miss a third game for his slap on Salvatore Aronica earlier in the month, meaning he misses out on Saturday's match against the Bianconeri.
This means that the Sweden international will not take part in Saturday's crunch match at San Siro against Juventus, as initially expected.
Ibrahimovic saw red in Milan's goalless draw against Napoli on February 5 for slapping Salvatore Aronica in an off-the-ball incident.
The Rossoneri had challenged the severity of Ibrahimovic's action, claiming that there was no violence involved in the gesture, which would see his suspension reduced to two matches.
The club claimed in a statement following the failed appeal: "It's unfair because this case was treated as a violent one, but it isn't violent. It's a serious legal error."
However, the Lega Calcio's decision to enforce the ban as previously administered means that Milan will have to do without the services of Ibrahimovic, who is the club's top Serie A scorer, with 15 goals, against the Bianconeri.

Ibra got 2 match ban last year for cursing at ref(evidence), now will see if rules apply to Juve too or is constant bitching and pathetic crying about refs by Juve done its job

Total BS that Vucinic wasn't banned when Ibra was banned for something similar last season.

Re: damn
well lets hope our team can play better without ibra.
ibra is in a tremendous form but i think it is just good thing that he will have a good rest. would have been better if he was suspended against small teams but its ok i dont mind.
i have full faith in our forwards whoever plays, robinho pato or el sharawwy.
any news on boateng?

Re: damn
Apparently the reason Vucinic wasnt punish was because he said it in his own language therefore the officials didnt understand it....

Vucinic said whole thing on "our ex-yu" language, meanwhile, Ibra said "vafancullo picka ti materina" as you can see only vfancullo is in italian and he was not banned coz of simple *bleep* you, he was banned for "picka ti materina" which means "ur mothers c unt" which sounds stupid on english but oh well, so does Vucinic " i f uck ur decomposing bald family"
But those are pretty juice on our language

The difference is that nobody even touched Krasic, that was just blatant. Boateng was clearly clipped by the rushing keeper, whether or not he left his leg in the way deliberately is inconsequential - there was enough contact to bring him down.

btw, does anyone know how much Marotta paid to have Ibra banned?
:lol!: :lol!: :lol!:
P.S. I realise Juve fans are over-sensitive about this so I will explicitly say that this is a JOKE.

:lol!: hipno eye... what is that?
I think that to ban someone for diving there has to be no doubt at all that it was a dive. Nobody would ever argue that Krasic's dive was not a dive - that's the difference between his situation and Boateng's penalty.

Re: damn
There was quite obviously contact but he went down easily, he knew the goalie wasn't going to be able to pull out of the movement fully. That's not what the thread is about though.
That is one bizarre insult Vucinic used.
Suspensions aren't excuses though, I'm not surprised that Ibra wasn't let off lightly, something I might have expected if he hadn't been up for a lengthy suspension before however he keeps getting himself into trouble so it's something he has to live with.

You make a good point about Ibra's troublesome history. That probably counted against him this time.

The thing is that the thing Ibra did had intention if there was no intention there he wouldn't be suspended
