Rebuild

This team seriously needs rebuilding.

Arsene Wenger is known to be stubborn and doesn't criticize his players but fortunately something has changed this season. Taking Walcott off at halftime certainly proves that.

Because of yesterdays training session he was described as ‘going crazy’ – The Telegraph, ‘savaging the players’ – The Mail, ‘turning the air blue’ – The Guardian and ‘throwing a massive eppy’ – Gavin Worth, My Old School. This also shows that Le Prof must be looking at his players with disgust. I would I expect him to offload some players this summer.

We will be having players returning from their loans such as Vela, Bendtner and Denilson. Those must be sold along with players such as Almunia, Squillaci, Chamakh and Park.
There are other players such as Arshavin, Rosicky and Walcott who are debatable but to be honest they are squad players and nothing more. Plus I expect that 1 or 2 of them will go.

When you come to think of it, we have so many DECENT players but not a trophy winning team.
and in order to retain out 'winning mentality' and becoming a team this is willing to actually fight for a trophy one must must rebuild whether it will be Wenger or his successor.

I'll write a list of all the deadwood and I will cross them off as soon as they leave.

I edited the post so that we can persist on the players that we want out and hopefully I'll cross most of them out in the summers *fingers crossed*

I don't think we "need to Rebuild" , all we need is a couple of Already proven talent + Experienced players , i don't want to name names cause honestly idk

what i know is that i don't want players like Hazard , Gotze... they are all talents but come on there is a 50/50 chance between flopping and succeeding

On top of buying a new players i want Injure free Season , Rvp is playing now but I KNOW he won't be playing with us next season we always have someone missing :facepalm:

We have too many useless player and some just not good enouph for a big club.

Manuel Almunia- GTFO

Sébastien Squillaci- GTFO

Johan Djourou- Simply not good enouph, accident waiting to happen.

Abou Diaby- Why is this guy still at Arsenal, Why did Wenger sign him up for another 4 years. Always 10 days away WTF.

Andrey Arshavin- Time is up, love the guy but must go.

Theo Walcott- We should not sign him if he does improved till the end of the season, no way we should pay 80k a week, to sit on the bench.

Marouane Chamakh- No more blackmailing please.

Denilson- he is gone.

Vela- he is gone.

Bendtner- he is gone. I would take him back though if he cleans up his act.

Aaron Ramsey- I really dont know about this guy anymore, every game he slows us down and its hard for him to make a pass.

Plus you'll obviously generate money from selling some of the deadwood stated above.

Wenger can spend it right only if he wishes to.

Sell Walcott and buy Podolski, and some how Walcott is worth more than Podolski not sure why?

Sell Ramsey and buy Mario gotze.

RVP will stay at Arsenal.

I dont care what anyone says here, I would not even think twice about selling selling them to get those 2.

1st step is finishing top 4.

Wenger's reputation is diminishing increasingly every year, especially this season with many unacceptable losses this year. His rep alone won't continue to entice players to come or our good ones to stay.

The elephant in the room is RvP. It's not just about us being able to re-sign him, but the more immediate concern is that we're one RvP injury away from the team collapsing. Talent wise, our team without RvP might still have enough to push for a 4th finish. The dynamic in that scenario is that our team doesn't have much in the area of mental toughness, and the cornerstone of what we have in that area is RvP.

So yeah, top 4 finish is imperative. IMPERATIVE. Any rebuilding/reloading process depends on that.

Wait...Wenger should play a big part in the rebuilding.

If Wenger is ready to change his transfer policy and build another invincibles team RVP will stay and we will improve.

You can get atleast 25m from walcott considering Henderson and downing both went for 20m...then buy podolski..get rid of the deadwood and ramsey who every time i watch him, dissapoints me and when he has a good game he kills someone..

Carlos Vela: 6 million

Wlacott has done nothing to be worth over 20 mill or close to it.

NOT anymore, it used to be when we had cesc, clichy,nasri etc etc etc. BUT NOT anymore. we have become pathetic and have sold TOO MANY players, just too many quality players and not replaced them.

We're trying to be realistic here and just as Wenger once said 'we're not in dreamworld' haha

We won't sign 4-5 world class players, we might sign 1 or 2 tho but I still doubt it.

I'm just hoping that Wenger comes to his senses before it's too late because I want him to stay for as long as he could.

If over those last years things had been resolved at the right time we won't be there. I hope Arsene will change a bit, he is still the best man for arsenal even if he has big defaults. When you have that policy you have to make sure that all your players are behind you and will fight until death. Song , RVP, Kos, gervinho... are warrior. Nasri, Denilson,Bendter,Senderos aren't. so you keep the warriors and YOU BUY , no choice that's the reality.
I got a lot of respect for ferguson for being able to put some goods players he got on the bench when they play like shit whether it is rooney,chicharito,nani,valencia.
Hope same thing happen with the ones we got. Arteta,Song,Walcott,GErvinho should be in competitoin with other , and then they will keep improving and working hard.

hazard and gotze

probably get both for 55mill with luck and determination.

then you have:

podolski- 15-20mill?
Jan Vertonghen - 10-15mill?

adds up to around 90-80mill, but if liverpool can spend that, why cant we? why cant kroenke with all his billions do it? where has all the money gone from the sells of toure/ade/helb/cesc/nasri *bleep* THE LIST KEEPS ON GROWING

this is what we now have to spend to be a challenging team again. this is not like 2 years ago when we had a world class cesc that used to carry us to "near trophy challenges". those were the times when we only needed squad players to help cesc and give us depth but that is all gone now. the difference is that now our FIRST team sucks, not just our depth, when before it was just our depth that was missing.

yes i agree, these players need proper competition they are too comfortable. thats why my list works perfectly imo

I like this more. Never believed in Santos and still think that he has a lot to prove to be a starter for Arsenal. I would actually be willing to through him and Artetta on the sell list. Don't think they are Arsenal quality players.
