Valencia usually concede in the last minutes of a game to draw, oh yeah their set piece defending is horrible as well

This is where I wish Abelda, Baraja and Marchena were still in their younger days. Do you know how much fun that match would be? There would have been serious causalities in that midfield if those 3 were still around.

Anyway, a draw is on the cards for me...

Real talk, Valencia's midfield would out pass Stoke till kingdom come, the talent disparity is pretty clear. But Valencia's lack of nasty bastardry players would make it very inviting for Stoke to try to rough them up and I think they would succeed at it.

Maybe Abelda might start today and show his experience in these occasions.

I'm mostly concerned about Victor Ruiz. Every time I watch him play he seems to be the weakest link for Valencia. Can't see that changing against mighty Stoke.

10 years ago this month stoke were drawing 1-1 at oxford in the third tier of english football.. While valencia drew against man utd on The way to competing in the champions league final. :vagi:
