He did well vs Newcastle, linked well with Saha. Looked a little like poor mans Yorke and Cole.

Not hard when the midfield Tottenham was up against consisted of Guthrie and Perch

Well sure, that was a huge factor for the overall performance. Still like the way they combined.
Adebayor pulled wide and dragged Colo with him, leaving the center of the defence clear of its best defender and Saha made a nice running knowing where Ade would want to put it.

Re: Is Adebayor the best passing striker of all time?
Yh thats another thing Colo had to push up because of the crappy midfield, leaving gaps behind......
There's a reason Adebayor has been meh for the last 2 months and all of a sudden he faces a championship midfield and wallah he gets 4 assists and a goal.
Our Depth ( or lack of )

Indeed, he was shockingly poor against Liverpool. Touch all over the place, didnt hold the ball up and couldnt bring anyone into play.

No, I suspect many like myself read the title and thought of at least 10 better passing forwards with in 5 seconds.

As did I.
Then I saw the reference to how many assists he has in the EPL.
Of course he's far from what the title of the thread is suggesting.

How are Arsenal fans butt hurt?
Ade is shit and we all know it, he had 4 assist vs a team who played like shit. There is a reason why Ade is a reject.
The amount of scorers Spurs have anyone would had that many assists.
RVP has 22 goals and 8 assists, so what Ade has 2 more than him.

Umm...
Because it is apparent with almost every arsenal poster on this website.
Anytime a former arsenal player is brought up in a thread, regardless of what the thread is about a majority of you just bitch and complain about absolutely nothing.
Whether it be Nasri, Adebayor, Viera etc
Not a single topic can be started on either of them without some sort of apparent bashing, flaming, or statement relevant to the topic.
And hear me out. It isn't everyone but it's quite a handful.
