What do you think our best line-up is now that the transfer window has closed and we got to see the new signings a few times.

I have to agree with that lineup, wouldn't make any changes except although Robinho can be VERY frustrating, he is still an impact sub.

I have a soft-spot for Merkel, but IF we did take injuries into account, I'd have to play MVB. I also think that MVB might give Arsenal a bit more trouble than Merkel- not as an attacking threat, but he would be a strong matchup on Ramsay or Song, for instance.

yeah, we were just talking about this in the Mesbah thread. All our replacements are horrific compared to this guy. Surely Allegri isn't that blind?

Why, why is Bonera still a Milan player!?? This guy's name alone drives me crazy, whenever I see him near the ball I fear a goal. Mesbah has actually proved me, and many others I believe wrong, he isn't WC, but he is doing what he needs to do in LB, hope he can keep that form. WE need him to play against Arsenal, or else Zambrotta and Antonini will just be demolished with Walcott's pace.

forgot casssano. with cassano i have a feeling el sharwwy will thrive even more!

The most common formation with one tweak, Cassano for El Shaarawy who has been a surprising first choice in my mind, even if he is an excitement machine.

I prefer Nes-T33's out of all the formations so far, I don't really see the point in doing this thread without taking into account injuries, especially long-term ones, such as Cassano.

I think Mesbah has been a good buy for you guys.Was the most impressive of the back four yesterday and did make one really crucial interception which could have led to a 2nd goal.

Not so good attacking wise ,nonetheless a good defender.

And SES did nothing in the game until Maxi Lopez came on.Maybe he needs a decent mobile CF to work with.But with Ibrahimovic i'm not so sure about that.I saw nothing of that partnership against us either.

what about emanuelson?? he has really stepped up recently.. especially winning challenges on the flanks.. i saw 3 or 4 tackles in the wing yesterday.. he could be usefull at smpoint

Emmanuelson isn't as bad as some people make him out to be. He was largely anonymous yesterday, as were most of our players, but when the game opened up he was pretty impressive. He started both counterattacks and his through ball for Maxi on the second goal was especially nice. He certainly isn't starting material but could be a useful squad player against smaller teams.

My formation taking into account Cassano's injury (otherwise he'd be starting alongside Ibra for sure).

On this form, Robinho doesn't deserve to be anywhere near the starting 11. The guy needs to check his attitude. He spends the whole game walking around and when he finally gets the ball he wastes possession.
