Everyone asking about kaka replacement next year

Since neither Sarbia nor Canales are ready to be a quality squad/backup player for Ozil, we had to keep kaka. Sarabia has been barley getting any playtime in getafe while also not performing to the level required of him while Canales was on good tract until he got injured for the rest of the season, It is safe to say that neither of those players are ready to be ozil wing-man next season when kaka leaves.

So i was thinking about Castilla players, i wanted Mata but he is top player in chelsea and wont support coming here to bench.

There is Borja Valero, Who is 27, he has like 2/3 top years left in him, he is our castilla product as far as i know, he can be the perfect replacement and squad player until one of Sarabia/Canales are good enough to comeback to madrid.

The thing about Borja Valero is that he can also play in the midfield, so he will provide additional cover to CM area which we can then let granero go.

The main question is weither he will come to madrid or not. So guys what do you guys think.

Rumours are Sarabia will be bought back if Castilla are promoted to Segunda.

As for Kaka the replacements being looked at are Lucas from Brasil

We dont need to have star players to be backup, some of our castilla players are really good, like Borja, Mata, Negredo, Soldado etc. any of these can be our squad players.

I like Lucas as an option

Borjito is the best player in Villarreal,he is consistent,top quality and more than a back up player..I will love this to happen but will e accept a bench role ?

I think Lucas would play as a winger if he comes or even false 9.

If we win CL this year, I can see us using more Castilla/exCastilla players next year.

Canales is good enough imo, he just needs to make a proper recovery

I believe I read that he should be back near March

Mata is a star at Chelsea, Negredo hates Real Madrid, Soldado would laugh at us and Borja is actually good but would rather be a starter for Villareal than a bench warmer for Real Madrid.

It wouldnt work out, Borja is too good to be our AM backup. Maybe we can keep Granero until Canales is ready?

He is kinda inbetween it.But more close to WC.

im jumping on the borja train for kakas replacement. definitely cant do any worse plus it will be another madridista so there is the pride + loyalty factor.

borja is a great player and will be a perfect super sub/replacement for injuries just like callejon.

and as much playing time as kaka has undeservedly received, borja should be happy with the amount of time he could get.

But he doesn't play in Ozil's position. he would be Xabi's partner.

he really doesn't play deep enough, idk why everyone thinks he could be xabi's partner- he is not nearly good enough defensively. but as far as kaka's replacement, ya he can back up the CAM position

He can play as a AMC and CM. He can get minutes playing in both kaka + Granero time together, he will be more then happy with that. he is a perfect squad level player, very good backup.
