My high school friend is friends with Yonas and has him on his Facebook. So two days ago I found out about Yonas because of your post and I happened to be watching his video for "Pumped up kicks". I commented on my boys page and as I take a nice pull off my piece and move to turn on the video, I notice there's a notification on my Facebook. It was Yonas and he had just commented on the same status. I made sure it was him and let him to know that I found out about him because he was getting love from a dude in Norway - I figured it would mean more to him as he is from the Bronx and shouldn't be too shocked when people here know about him.

I can't understand how he's underrated, but at this point, it doesn't shock me. Anyway, I don't really care, independent artists don't have the most fans, but they certainly have the best. It's not easy and it takes a lot of work, you can tell these guys love their craft. Macklemore x Ryan Lewis is the perfect example for me. I love how some products (not enough) of generation are taking advantage of the internet in a positive way, it really opens a lot of doors and you're allowed to send whatever message you desire. I think we should stop and appreciate that more often, this is not a luxury that is offered to everyone.

Glad you liked it, Thimmy. I figured you would be interested in it after I saw you post that Nujabes album (I myself only heard about them after subscribing to that channel). They get a lot of mention and seem to have inspired many artists (not just mainstream people like XV). I don't we don't speak much, but I love music and your contributions haven't gone unnoticed - keep up the great work.

Just went through the tape. I'd have to agree it's definitely better than the first. Was starting to feel he really dropped the ball over the past few years.

Just d/led "Wu-Block" now. Disappointed at how little Wu-tang there is (apart from Raekwon and Ghost), but I still think it was worth the wait.
