It's good but I think I was expecting more, at least compared to the tracks on his mixtapes. It's a bit more club oriented I think, but there's still a bunch of bangers like Permanent Scar, Same Damn Time, Long Live The Pimp, Homicide. It's probably a 3.75/5, could go to a 4 after a few listens.

Yeah, I would pretty much agree with what you said, although my rating would be a 3/5, I didn't think it was that special, but it was solid, nonetheless.

He left his harder songs on his mixtapes, there's still only 1 autotune track. That said it's still club music to an extent, if you can't get into shit that knocks in the whip with a good beat(Tony Montana, Way Too Gone, Magic), well I don't know what to tell you. I listen to Future for the same reason I listen to Young Jeezy.

Heard the sequel to "Black Girl Lost" and it's one of the worst tracks Nas has ever done (up there with "Braveheart Party" and "Big Things"). I don't even think it needed a sequel in the first place, plus the poor beat only adds fuel for those critics on his beat selection.





Bleek re-emerges and delivers a good tape (some nice tracks here and there). Been in / out the game since '96 with excellent debut and some follow up albums. It's great to hear a project, but I was expecting a little more growth from him. I'm probably the only Bleek fan on here, but I've always felt he shines best on those deep and personal tracks.

Also heavy play on that Noreaga, Game, and Jon Connor trio.





You always know what to expect with N.O.R.E., even if he's not the best lyricist around. IMO Capone is/was always the better of the two, though each have their own style.

One of the real conscious rappers who deserves more recognition despite being in the game for a good while now. If people haven't been following his monthly EPs, they're missing out.

Always has been one of the hungriest out. I really don't know what to think of that relationship anymore, lol.

Heard a few of those tracks here and there but will be good to have them on one tape. "Oceans 7" is one of my fav State Prop tracks.
