Behrami forcing transfer to Juve

Valon Behrami is reported to be pushing for an €8m move to Juventus, though Fiorentina are not convinced by this deal.

The Swiss international is pin-pointed as the ideal reinforcement for Antonio Conte’s midfield in Turin.

According to Tuttosport this morning, Juve requested Behrami during a meeting to discuss Amauri’s potential transfer to Florence.

The 26-year-old former Lazio and West Ham United man could well request a transfer next week to push through the move.

His price-tag is around €8m, although Michele Pazienza or Milos Krasic could be included on loan to sweeten the deal.

sending Pazienza away to get Behrami is one of the dumbest things Ive read in a while. Defeats the whole purpose of getting an extra midfielder for depth.

8m = too much for Behrami.

If Krasic is loaned out to make way for behrami I will cry myself to sleep.

Juventus, bring Behrami, the Krasic guy is to onedimensional imo, Behrami brings versatility, crosses, is a hardworker, doesn't mind defending or attacking, in other words he does everything the coach tells him to do.

Juventus would never regret him, and 8mln is a right price for him.

why are we linked with every swiss player there is?

i'd prefer caceres as he can play as CB too...

I'd be content with Behrami. Get rid of Krasic and Pazienza and get Valon for 5M-7M on a reasonable wage and I say it would be a good transfer. Behrami could sub in almost everywhere. He could be a defender, a CM, a winger. Having a player like him could help us get rid of our abundance of squad players such Giaccherini, Krasic, Pazienza, Esti, etc.

Dont be so sure you guys when saying "Ill kill myself" as it has big possibilites to happen, and rightly so.

Behrami is like Vidal, just a bit "worse".

You'll all love him.

Same things were said about Nocerino, he's proving to be pretty decent.

Besides Behrami can play all the roles in the right side of the pitch.

funny thing..we give up a player that can do the same thing on the left side..and he's also swiss.
and now we play chiellini there cuz there's no better option

Always thought Conte made a mistake on Ziegler, but maybe there's a reason for that ?

Last yr he done more than any1 could have asked we would have been fighting for relegation if it wasn't for him tbh more than half goals were his assists plus he had goals scored in vital games...

today he ain't what he was true but still he needs respect

Behrami is a player like Grygera - a utility player of average ability but will run. Very similar to the love/hate figure that is Pepe.

Hes is not the quality player we need so badly. He is just a squad player.

Squad players who wont get regular action shouldnt cost 8m.

Vidal = 10m. Pirlo = free. Barzag = 0.5m. Lich = 10m --> all these are regular starters.

8m on squad/bench player is too much. Spend money wisely on class players and hold out for bargains for squad depth players. That should be our philosophy.

lol krasic had 2 good months. a season lasts longer than that devi. he is absolutely awful now. one of the worst players in the league

According to the newspaper, the Swiss international was identified as their primary objective following a meeting on Sunday.

President Andrea Agnelli, boss Antonio Conte, as well as officials Beppe Marotta and Fabio Paratici met for market talks after yesterday’s 1-1 draw with Cagliari.

It’s understood that Conte is looking for a new dynamic midfielder who could step in for either Arturo Vidal or Claudio Marchisio.

Fiorentina are in the midst of a crisis and fans are furious after yesterday’s shock 1-0 home defeat to relegation-threatened Lecce.

It’s unclear whether the Tuscan giants would want to further complicate matters by selling the midfielder to arch-rivals Juve.
