The New Roma Takes Off
The new Roma is about to take off as today, on a historic date for all Giallorossi fans, the first general meeting that will bring together members of management - new and old - who will control the new club headed by Thomas DiBenedetto and its American partners, will be held.
In a few minutes, in fact, on the second floor of the Tonucci law firm, those who are expected to be the architects of the new direction of Rome are going to meet. Among them certain the presence of Walter Sabatini, the new sporting director, and Franco Baldini; also awaited are Daniel Prade', Carlo Feliziani, Antonio Tempestilli and Cristina Mazzoleni. Bruno Conti and Salvatore Scaglia are said to be absent.
15.40 - Franco Baldini has also left. These were his words: "Excuse me, but I cannot say anything at the moment. You understand my position. Within two weeks you will know everything."
15:34 - Leaving the meeting is Claudio Fenucci, CEO of Lecce and the next director of Roma.
15.07 - Elena Turra has left the studio, the meeting has ended.
14.30 - Still in the studio are Franco Baldini, the lawyer Baldissoni and Elena Turra, Roma's Communications Manager.
14.25 - Feliziani and Tempestilli exit as well, the latter saying, "It went well, it was an operational meeting."
13:32 - Cristina Mazzoleni and Daniele Prade' leave as well. The latter has released this statement: "It will be an important corporate structure with great management. My role is not yet defined, but the individual does not matter, from now on we must think about the collective. When will the organizational structure be announced? Within the next two weeks. There was no talk of investments or budgets. The choice of this day was no accident: it is a sign of revival. Fans can rest assured, it will be a Roma of the highest level from a structural standpoint. Today we discussed each other's competencies and the season-ticket campaign which is very important. "
13.00 - Vito Scala leaves the Tonucci studio without giving any comments.
11.40 - Sabatini leaves the meeting: "It was an operational meeting for the functions, roles and operations. If there was Baldini? You know the answer. I'll be meeting with Bruno Conti in the afternoon. We're all on the same page."
10:58 - Vito Scala enters the building.
10.53 - Cristina Mazzoleni also reaches the studio.
10:48 - Tempestilli re-enters the studio together with Carlo Feliziani, head of the ticket-office. Daniel Prade' also arrived, but will only speak with the media later, and Elena Turra. Both seem very tense.
10:44 - Tempestilli leaves the meeting and told reporters he was "delighted to be part of the new project." Even a joke on the anniversary: "There should be more of these dates".
10.24 - Sabatini also reached the studio.
9:58 - Franco Baldini and lawyer Baldissoni arrive at the law firm. The future general manager arrived driving a large white car.

He wasn't able to make it to the meeting. He met with Sabatini this morning instead. Sabatini supposedly has an offer for him which Conti is now considering, though we don't know what post he will have in the new management. He may stay on board with the youth team or he might act as an ambassador and represent the club internationally.
Basically this is how it should look look:
Thomas DiBenedetto: President
Franco Baldini: Director General, DiBenedetto's right hand man.
Walter Sabatini: Sporting Director, role formerly held by Daniele Prade'.
Claudio Fenucci: CEO, role formerly held by Rosella Sensi.
Cristina Mazzoleni: Assistant to Claudio Fenucci.
Daniele Prade': General Manager.
Antonio Tempestilli: Organizational Manager.
Elena Turra: Director of Communications.
Carlo Feliziani: Box Office and Technical Services Manager
Luis Enrique: Manager and Youth Team Manager, formerly held by Vincenzo Montella and Bruno Conti respectively.
Ivan De La Pena: Assistant Manager, formerly held by Aurelio Andreazzoli
Roberto Moreno: Technical Collaborator, formerly held by Daniele Russo
Antonio Llorente: Technical Assistant
Rafael Cabanellas: Athletic Coach, formerly held by Paolo Bertelli
Vito Scala: Athletic Coach
Michele Gemignani: Head of Medical Staff, formerly held by Vincezo Affinito
The ones in bold are the new members of our management. Elena Turra and Antonio Tempestilli's roles will not change, while Cristina Mazzoleni's responsibilities have been reduced and Daniele Prade's role is yet to be defined in great detail, though he will act as an advisor. Franco Baldini will be the front man in the absence of Thomas DiBenedetto, whose role within the club will obviously not be the same as Rosella Sensi's. Sensi also had the role of Chief Executive Officer which will now go to Claudio Fenucci. Salvatore Scaglia's position as Team Manager is still uncertain as he was not at the meeting yesterday. Also, we currently are missing a Goalkeeping Coach.

Re: The New Roma Takes Off
Three updates on our staff for next season:
-Roma icon Franco Tancredi has accepted an offer to return to Roma as a goalkeeping coach. Tancredi played for Roma between 1977 and 1990 and was part of our scudetto winning side in 1983. He also acted as a goalkeeping coach with us under Fabio Capello, with whom he won the scudetto in 2001.
-Aurelio Andreazzoli, our first team coach originally brought in by Spalletti and re-called under Montella, will also be integrated into Luis Enrique's staff after refusing an offer from Fiorentina.
- Claudio Fenucci, currently employed by Lecce, will sign with us and act as our chief executive officer on July 1st, the day after his contract with Lecce expires. His main responsibilities will be to act as our main representative during our operational proceedings with the Italian F.A. and to take care of our television rights.
