I wouldn't. I honestly just want to see a Sahin-Alonso partnership.

Look, all this criticism of Alonso is unwarranted. No other player will do as well. The only CM that performs against Barcelona consistently and keeps a cool head is Banega. The thing is put any player agianst Barcelona, the pressure coupled with their reputation amassed over the last 4 years, means that noone is comfortable enough under pressure when they face Barcelona. Bar Banega, no other player is comfortable when under that kind of pressing from Barcelona tbh.

We have to recover the ball quiclky (Lass), we need a faster midfield (Ozil-Sahin) and COURAGE.

.... jibers you do realise you can't say such things without trying the guy? Mou wanted the guy for a reason, both banega and sahin are excellent passers when under pressure. the reason banega thrives under barca i feel is becouse when they gang up on him they leave space he likes to thrive under

for example wilshere was great too. it's alonsos fault, it just is. vs. barca you need someone who can handle their pressure without giving the ball away, and wilshere and banega are players that does this.

problem with alonso is he needs alot of space to pull a pass, just watch his best passes. they come when none is pressing him imo/deep

btw I agree with izzy. sahin-alonso is stupid. vs smaller teams/everyone except barca it's okay but you guys have to realise that barca will kill us if we have no DM
