Nuri Sahin has agreed a one-year loan move to Arsenal, according to reports in Germany.

German media claims that the former Borussia Dortmund midfielder has completed his medical at Arsenal with an announcement expected from the Gunners in the next 24-hours. Sahin could now be included in the squad for the trip to Stoke City on Sunday.

Sky Sports News HD (Germany) which initially came with the story are now backtracking re Sahin Arsenal medical. They are now saying that Sahin wants to join Arsenal, Arsenal want to buy him, Madrid want to send him out on loan and Liverpool would like to loan him.

We should seriously have a moratorium on Sahin rumors until there's a confirmation. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if nobody's in negotiation at all and the media's just punking us at this point.

Goal.com are saying that Wenger has changed his mind about this loan deal and is looking at signing him permanently. This has basically put a stop to the whole deal. Sahin's agent is now apparently speaking to Liverpool again.

Spurs, for their part, favor the Liverpool move as they don't want him going to Arsenal with the implications of the Modric deal in the balance as well.

Why can't Barcelona sign Song, Arsenal sign Sahin, Real Madrid sign Modric and Bayern Munich sign Martinez and everyone is happy.

I know Song deal has gone through, but I want to see Sahin in Arsenal or Liverpool, Modric in Madrid and Martinez in Bayern Munchen.

the reason all those deals are held up is because tottenham cant find anyone to sign to replace modric.

the second tottenham sign someone like m'vila will be the day all these deals go through.
