Not sure about Zidane over someon like Raul or Etoo.

Obviously he was better then both, but he was only playing like it 2 maybe 3 seasons.

Raul and Etoo literally were great for 8-10 years.

Depends on how you judge it I guess.

Choose any 5 from those names and you'll have a top 5 and I know I left out some very important names as well. Please be advised, La Liga 2000 - 2012 is stacked really highly and to choose a top 5 only based on Real Madrid and Barcelona is very irresponsible....

Cr7 stats are amazing , i don't deny . he is great
But ronaldo scored 83 in 127 and he was quite big while cr7 is a machine. So the two are great but R9 is a legend , too class

Raul, Zidane, Xavi, Messi, Cristiano/Ronaldinho (right now Dinho, if CR keeps up his form for another year him).

Top 10 is better IMO, and from 2002 instead of 2000 so we have 10 years.

Casillas - Greatest goalkeeper La Liga has had. Has to be there.

Messi - Probably will be best player ever at the end of his career. Is a monster at his current state.

Raul - 3rd all time La Liga goalscorer. All time Real Madrid goalscorer, all time UCL goalscorer

Puyol - Been captain for Barca since 2004 and probably Barcas greatest defender ever. One of La Liga's best defenders and the man is pure class.

Xavi - Don't think I'll need to explain this one. Arguably the best midfielder in history. Best in La Liga for sure. Had it not been for Messi this guy would have a balon d'Or.
