Yep, Callejon is always hard to miss when playing. Nuri is getting his confidence and this goal was just really well earned.

I'm sad to say Varane seemed a little lost , nothing to bad, but he should do better against Ponferradina.

Altintop needs to work more at condition training, he obviously lacks his speed and stamina.

Impressed by Callejon, Sahin and Pepe, and by the subs Joselu and Nacho. Benzema had a real off day. Still, onwards to defend our title!

Ok,

- Nuri Sahin has a very very good game.
- Callejon was a Ronaldo V2.
- Benz and Varane had average game.
- Casado was as he plays with castilla, he is not good.
- Khedira was totally invisible, did nothing the whole game.
- Altintop is useless, took 30 minutes of the whole game with his useless stuff.
- Granero had an ok game.
- Jesulu had a great cameo, 2 subs 2 first touch goals, what a boss.
- Hey, Nacho seems way taller then before, he is written 180 in Madrid site, i am prety sure he is 184+.

he didnt play average, the onyl attacker to run round looking for passes, benzema was just NOT interested...callejon was a fighter

Yeah, Callejon is doing his job. His overall play is average for the eye, but his runs open up defences really well. He is more of a striker, and that's why I think he is worthy a call up for Spain. He can fill David Villa's role perfectly.

lol wingers job are to dribble, create space, assist and then score. callejon is excellent finisher, currently better then all our strikers (pipa,ron,benz) form wise. but his passing, dribbling, ball control and especially crossing are average, when he runs, he looks like fast, but he isnt even fast. he is just driven.

callejon is like ronaldo, turns in to striker making all the runs and scores goals. although he also had an assist today. his first for madrid i think.

Callejon is an excellent squad player and a backup and a rotation player, we are lucky to have him, he is extremely usefulll unlike pedro leon lol, and he is most importantly and castilla player. such a gem.

i just hope someday a coach comes and uses more castilla players as backup and rotation players, when u have players like jesse, sarabia morata, nacho, alex, they are way better backups altintops and all those multimilion players.

The winger you described isn't even CR7 so don't give me that crap. If someone scores he is good, he is doing his job at wing good and there are no complains man. Otherwise CR wouldn't deserve a start, no?

We need more homegrown players because they have much more spirit then bought players. It depends on a person ofc but I say - give our homegrown players who show passion a chance.

Your saying Callejon wouldn't work at the wing for Spain? Villa finishing has gone to absolute bonkers lately and imo Callejon can take his spot now that he is injured.

lol where did i say he is bad. all i said is that he is Ronaldo V2 or poor mans ronaldo, which isnt a bad thing at all. he has a wing striker style thats all. he totally deserves to start week in week out.

but i perfer more, i want the winger to have it all, like for example, neymer does also makes those runs, but he also dribbles, he also creates, he creates more danger, less misplaced passes, thats what i perfer to have as a full time starter.
