And look at how the Bonucci transfer turned out. He was a big mistake at that price in my eyes. And we haven't even touched on him costing us Criscito as well.
Ogbonna will not be valued at that because he has not proven enough yet to be sold that high. Do you really think Torino wouldn't jump at a 20mil offer right now. Do you know how much money that is for a club like that? At least Amauri was scoring in Serie A to give him that price tag...and Martinez was one of Catania's top players but I wouldn't have paid over 6 or 7mil for him. Ogbonna's price tag is inflated for a reason. The little teams need to make money too. If Ogbonna is a success in Serie A his price can rise but if not what happens?

Bonucci was probably overpriced too but he had even more things going for him than Ogbonna did.

Yea your right he earned that price tag more then Ogbonna at least. But honestly though I didn't think he was worth that much because I always though Ranocchia was better. But still, 15mil for a centerback is still high. Especially one coming off a good season.

I definitely agree but Bonucci's price is still lower than Ogbonna's potential price and there was lower risk (both price and experience wise).

I also have no doubt that Ogbonna will be the real deal but on his own time and terms.

I commented on Armero during the game he was fantastic but I really want to see Caceres as the LB he is more physically imposing.
