After a break for the Clasico, our best XI of the year looks like this:

These are the CBs on the poll, the best two will fill the positions in the lineup and the next best will sit on the bench:

Mats Hummels- Germany and Borussia Dortmund
Vincent Kompany- Belgium and Manchester City
Pepe- Portugal and Real Madrid
Gerard Pique- Spain and Barcelona
Carles Puyol- Spain and Barcelona
Mamadou Sakho- France and Paris St Germain
Thiago Silva- Brazil and Milan
Nemanja Vidic- Serbia and Manchester United

I think you should allow everyone to have two votes.

For me Silva and Pique.

Very though for me to leave out Hummels.

Kompany and Silva

Sorry mate, but If I hit multiple voting people could vote for 3 players, or all of them.

Going to give it to Kompany and Silva, those two have been the most consistent imo.

Yes exactly, the guy has been a wall all season.

Koscielny was miles better than Sakho last season.

Ramos?

Pique and Silva although it is close and you wouldn't blame anyone for including Kompany.

Thats my problem..... "last year" that only consists of 6 months of the whole of 2011 he has done little to nothing in the 2nd half of 2011.....

I almost beg for people to post and give the players they think should be in the poll. Invariably, nobody posts and I have to pick them myself. Obviously, how can I know the best CBs from all leagues? So its flawed. Then people say this and that player should be in, you suck cos you excluded him.
