Still think Newcastle fans should jude him only after the close of window.Already Cabaye(sp?) in the bag,close to signing Ba.I think he will spend the carroll money this window.

Its better than what they had last year.Only question will be can these players gel? Otherwise they might be in a bigger trouble and could be dragged into relegation fight.

He is'nt leaving, he does'nt want to leave , we have not recieved any offers......

Again that is if Pardew get's what he wants for anyone that is interested he wants 2 CF's( one small , one big) 2 wingers( rumoured to be Barnetta and N'Zogbia) and replacement for Nolan and Enrique( rumoured to be Matuidi and M'Bengue).

With Ashley around i will be genuinely shocked if those deals happen.

What I don't get is why no other bottom end EPL teams like Wigan, WBA etc didn't go for Nolan =/

I dont think u will sign Matuidi when u have Tiote.Also he is quoted 14 mil not the type of price Ashley would want for a midfielder.Ba signing is confirmed by Sky.So will sign if he doesnt fail a medical.Also isnt Taylor from Swansea close to signing for u guys?

Taylor has confirmed that he wont be Enrique's replacement and i agree about Matuidi......

Well it's rumoured we will play 4-2-3-1 with Ben Arfa in the hole so if we can keep this lad fit he can play on the left.

Carroll 35M+Nolan 4.5M plus factor in the money we have regardless of those sales which is about 10-15....

But whether Ashley want's to give the manager that money is another matter entirely.

He is a LW.Can play AM.He apparently agreed 60k with us.Dont think he would have agreed for anything else.Decent player nothing special.Already 25 not going to improve much though.Also dead ball specialist from what i read about him.

Now to his injury record.It isnt as bad as it has been made out.He missed 6 of last season due to persisting niggle in the groin.So had to go under surgery.He suffered a freak hamstring injury in french u-21 camp because of which he missed 6 six months in 2008-08 season.Then he had to undergo surgery for Groin injury last year because of which he missed 5 months.

So in total he has missed 11 months in his career so far.He is 25 and only missed 11 moths of football in his career so far.

The only issue is he has failed a medical with us.So he clearly has some long term concerns.Probably u have to just trust the Newcastle doctors.

I don't think Neverkuzen would be particularly keen to let go of Barnetta, but I'm honestly not exactly familiar with his situation there. If you do get him, he will be a very good signing. I'm personally a big fan of his.

Renato Agusto will be a much much better option/fit at Newcastle though.

I have heard we want Mevlut Erdinc but i also heard that even if we get him we will buy another striker lol.

It's just a case of wait and see i suppose( for example this Marveaux deal no one had a clue we were even interested even the local press)

@Fady i would of thought so aswell but there's so many rumours that the deal is imminent, fantastic if so another player we want is Matuidi but i dont think we have a hope of getting him.

Newcastle seem to be very active in the transfer market this season. A lot of other EPL clubs are a tad too quiet. Haven't heard a peep from Everton, Aston Villa etc. They're only letting go of players/coaches and they're not linked with many players.

Ba has never passed a medical apparently.

Failed it at Newcastle, West Ham, Stoke & Hoffenheim.

we did the same with Mensah, although on loan. He was awesome when he was fit, but that sadly wasn't often.

9 times out of 10 he would need to be subbed within 30 minutes, with a substitution used so early it often limited us.

Dont believe everything you read, there was no problem with either medical's both have signed....

None the less it is a risk but for free iam not going to complain too much its not like we are signing someone like Owen for 16 Million on 120 k a week.

Its well known Ba has a serious Knee complaint, & im sure I read that Pardew him self said he failed it.
