So does this mean all violent conduct bans handed out by the FA will not only be 2 games? Or that they'll drop the extra match suspension for frivolous appeals? Seems only fair, given how they've approached Rooney's incident...

They know it won't matter whether Rooney plays in the WC or not, so they thought they could throw the English FA some scraps by reducing the ban?

UEFA deceived the English FA.

They just royally fecked up their appeal and disciplinary system. Any player charged with violent conduct just needs to cite this incident.
