I'm pretty sure Pandev is just on a loan. TBH I'd rather have him here than Milito. Looks like he's trolling us with goals though. The second goal he did some sublime juggling touches and had a beautiful finish. And the first goal was an amazing finish.

refs are not computers they make mistakes ...but the penalty decision was right if u don't believe it read it on fifa ...

I don't know, looked at FIFA's document but i'm not sure either way. I myself was certain that as it deflected off a Juve player (Bonucci) it should stand. But after looking again i'm not sure.

Also I considered maybe it stood because it was direct from a free kick but apparently it's only a non effect if direct from a throw in, gk or corner; Although I'm pretty sure I've seen examples of those penalised.

Their definition of 'interfering with play' makes it less clear cut than the PK retake.

Its not offside. When u take the test as reff its 2nd rule u learn. The rule of activating the passive offside is not in force since Netherlands vs Chechz Republic game 2004 Euro ... He put the ball backward making 2nd action which is not offside

But is it just me that has seen goals like that disallowed since 04?

To be fair to Nabuli like 75% of PK's should be re-taken on that basis. Just depends on the referee it seems, no consistency.

Tagliavento is a by the book ref who went by the book, there should be no complaints about the re-taking of the PK...Yeah we've all seen things like that allowed by other refs but thats not the letter of the law - it was a good call

Also the goal by Hamsik was good...passive offside etc

And let me just say after that celebration Hamsik almost deserved that re-take, what a tw@.

I think he took it because all week he was running his mouth about beating Juve, but his overconfidence backfired. Lavezzi should have took it but there you go
