They beat the EPL Champions, the La Liga Champions and the Bundesliga all in a row to win the Champions League.

How many other teams (if any) have done that to win the CL? (And, how many teams have given Barcelona a 3-1 drubbing lately?)

We won Serie A, we won the Champions league beating some of the best teams in the world (Chelsea, Barca, bayern) and we won the Coppa Italia. Which team was better than Inter in that season? Barca... loolll

I didn't say anything about mistakes, decisions, volcano's or any form of excuses. I actually have said before Inter deserved to go through.

Doesn't mean they are the best team in the world. Porto weren't the best team in 04 either, but they won and deserve their props for that.

If beating and totally outclassing an all time great Barcelona 3-1 (and that score could have been much bigger actually) doesn't make you the best team in the world in the specific season, then i don't know what does honestly....

and if that was not enough, then Inter actually dethroned not only Barcelona, at that time current Spanish and European Champions, but also the champions of England, champions of Russia, and Champions of Germany.

Now when was the last time a team did that and was not called the best in the world?
