Quagliarella staying at Juve
The likes of Milan and Genoa have been told to forget about signing Fabio Quagliarella in January. “He’s staying at Juventus.”
The Italian international has been linked with a New Year move away from Turin after struggling to break into the plans of boss Antonio Conte.
However, after making his second appearance of the season against Palermo on Sunday, his agent has ruled out an exit.
“He’ll certainly remain at Juventus and for some time because the club have shown that they are counting on Fabio,” representative Beppe Bozzo told calciomercato.it.
“Naturally we have received a variety of bids for him because he is a wanted man on the transfer market, but I’ve declined every offer.”
Quagliarella is now back to full fitness after missing the first six months of 2011 with knee ligament damage.
“I’m certain that he will be able to give his contribution to Juve as we are talking about a great attacker,” added Bozzo.
Milan were pondering a move given that they are looking for a replacement for Antonio Cassano following his recent heart surgery.
Meanwhile, Genoa chief Enrico Preziosi did admit that he would like to sign the former Sampdoria player after Christmas.

Grazie a Dio; Fabio non si tocca !
Glad that he is staying; he is untouchable for me.

Re: Quagliarella staying at Juve
Actually Aldo... nobody did. We've known this for a long time now, and it's no surprise really. This is not the first time that it is reported. A while back it was said that Conte wanted Quagliarella nonetheless and not to put him on the market, his agent as well came out in the past and also stated that he will not be going anywhere in January.
Now it's almost for sure with the confirmation of his agent that he will not be leaving which is great. I guess that is why Milan stopped going after him.
