Will Morata finally make it?!

Ade wasn't retained and Mou promised last year that he'd promote Morata. The question is, will he finally get a shot at first team or we'll look for a 3rd striker somewhere else again? He is THE target man+ extra, can head, shoot with both feet, not a weakling either. He is very different to what we have (Higgy+Benz + maybe Kunt).I'd say the perfect fit for the target man role.

He is the target man version of Higuain, the perfect fit for our system. Mou would be extremly silly to let him go

I want to get rid of Kaka somehow and test Kunt, Higgy,Benz and Morata until the winter transfer window before getting rid of any striker. Some things could only be seen in training and later on the pitch

lol, too many forwards. If one of them was trequartista type messi, it would have been perfect. That's why i use to say that Sanchez tactically could be better, he can play a little deeper in the midfield, and altho he aint yet a great passer, he works his asses off.

He could be an option... If he comes, there's really no need for Benz. Sanchez basically does his job but is a lot more versatile...

Sanchez is still very immature as far as im concerned. Too much waste in his game, if he does that in madrid you would pull our own teeth out.

Two poachers and two dribblers? The problem is Morata isn't proven. I wouldn't put too much expectations on him in his first season.It looks good otherwise, any of them would make an impact off the bench.
My concern is to have one ready to go forward at the begining of the new season. When the season progresses, Benz/Higgy will come back into their own, specially Higgy, I want to see first whether he can fully recover or not. In winter transfer window, we could sort out the striker situation according to the needs.The problem is Kaka.

We have got to start playing ronaldo as a CF more often, i rather see benzema coming in from the left than see ronaldo there for 90min.

When ronaldo went out, benzema played like god was whispering to him. he understands team movements miles better than ronaldo.

I would take Morata as a 3rd striker well before spending 45m (or substantially more if hostile) on Aguero plus his 7m-8m in wages.

That's for damn sure....

Ronaldo is shit at CF imo Ronaldo is the one who moves the ball forward, he isnt as selfish and ego as people make him look. He should stay in midfield

When the opposition is sitting deep, Ronaldo's effectiveness decrease by 30%. Just look how his contribution decreases in CL. Teams wait for him and then double team him.

Benzema on the other hand does the link up much better than ronaldo and really enjoys getting into the moves of the team. Unselfishly, he will work the ball around with the others and get inside the box. Ronaldo does personal actions to be effective most of the time. Them changing positions has been the way mourinho dealt with teams marking ronaldo, and it looks good imo.

Actually, if Mourinho gets Morata to work , he is the best striker for our system, an even better fit than Benz or Higgy. He is a target man who can do things that Ade could only dream of ( very wet dreams ).

mtfootball, what's your opinion about him? I watched him enough, he is an upgrade over Higuain if developed properly.You could play him in any type of system without drawbacks.

no,he wont get promoted this time.He will play under torril and fight for promotion,after all he is still 18.

Adit, no one is expecting him to get promoted but if he stays he will get the same treatment as Mejias. Train with the first team all week, and go with them whenever he can.

He will stay here for couple of years too.We can use him whenever we need him.Aguero,higuain and morata as a option from castilla is too much imo.

i noticed your recent obsession about benzema.He is more talented with the ball but whats the big deal? Mou system isnt based on ball skills to be honest.Benz will slow down our counter attacking football (its not the other way around like "benz will force us to play good link up football" argument).Also benz isnt creative dude,he is good at link up plays and thats it,i have never seen benz creating a goal out of no where.Aguero can do pretty much everything benz can do .

Aguero is a better dribbler,better link up play,better speed,on par with finishing,shooting from out side the box,better tactical awareness,better suited to play for a counter attacking system,and most importantly more inteligent and has more footballing brain.

Higuain is entirely different to fanzema and aguero .Why should we lose such a rare breed player?,atleast he is willing to accept bench role unlike benzema.
