What do you mean by honours? Individual or team? If trophies with their clubs I'd say their about equal if I'm not mistaken.

Also if you are going to count national team medals then I don't think Valdes should take any credit for the world cup win lol

It was an honest question, my hunch would say that Casillas would have more given that Valdes was not called up for Spain for the longest time.

Valdes has more for sure... The problem with valdes I think is that he plays in front of a great defensive tea, statistically last season Barcelona where the best team if not one of the best in EUrope and I think you guys have the best 2nd defensive record in la liga history! Casillas because of the ground and pound style RM played last season was always exposed (This season MAdrid have improved!)

As far i am concerned, Valdes has improved enough to be even compared to Casillas at some level. That is good enough for me!

Vikcy has one more league and champions league winners medals than Iker (5 and 3 to 4 and 2)

He has a token world cup medal while Iker has a Euro and a World Cup.

As far as individual awards Iker has much more. Best goalkeeper awards left and right.

Zamora trophy is a a team award, it should be seen as an award for the defence unless the winning keeper has a very high number of saves. :coffee:
