great sign of respect from Madrid

Very classy and a very nice gesture.

Its funny how things barca used to be the classy ones now it the other way around.

i feel like a self troll saying this but it would have been classier if they were printed on the new kits.

not last years that we couldnt sell.

he was not exactly a legend. .in fact he parted on bad terms from the club i believe..

Cassano didn't have optimum time at Real but he was established himself as a cult favorite among the Ultra Sur due to his glimpses of potential but more importantly his known friendship with the Madrid fans.

Also, he was quick to gain the love of his teammates most notably with Ramos, Raul, Iker, and a the locker room as a whole.

The gesture is simply out of the great friendship he had with everyone rather then for his career there.

As for the gesture itself;

I will this gesture as RM has even further cemented my respect for them after there Animo Abidal tribute.

Both done purely from the heart.

Yes, but if you recall, he was a regret for the club and organization and he was hotheaded, rebellious, and did not play nearly as well as he does now so for the club to put that past them and do this is quite something.

Respect for Real Madrid. Honestly would not have expected this.

Add Capello, he deserves more blame than Calderon and Mijatovic, Good riddance...

To be honest, Im a bit worried how everyone seems to be saying 'How good of Madrid, not like them' or 'Surprised by this'...

madrid are a classy club despite popular interpretation.
