In terms of appearances yes I think so. He would already have hit 100 last season if he never missed so many games in his first season where he managed 33 in 35.

Can someone check Di Stefano or Eusebio's stats, they might have achieved similar feat?

Re: Would CR7 be the fastest player to reach a century for any club
Do you really think he is a high level scorer? Portugal says hello.
30 goals in 85 games (0.35 ratio). Compared to a real scorer batistuta who scored 81 goals in 105 games (0.77 ratio) for argentina cr is an avarage striker.
In madrid its easiest thing to score. Alone this season if higuain took all penalties for madrid he would have 12 goals and cr 9 atm..this is higuain that didnt play half of cr's minutes. And imagine what would happen if higuain played every match full 90 min and took all penalties

So kicking 53 goals in one season makes him an average striker?

Take your shitty rant somewhere else. This thread isn't about accessing CR7's scoring abilities.
It's whether he is set to become the fastest to reach the 100 goal mark for a club, or not.

If Higuain is a "53 goal scorer", the mourinho is really blowing it by plattoning him!!

At least ronaldo can score penalties.
Also, Portugal as a national team is not even that good. Pepe, contreao, nani, and CR? is that is?
Fact is, ronaldo scored 53 goals, facts are facts, arguing with them is like arguing with a wall.

Yes in madrid he can score 53 because in another team he will not get 10 penalties in one season. again if higuain started all games and took all penalties he would score more than him last seasonBiasedMilanFan3 wrote:billionmillion wrote:Do you really think he is a high level scorer? I dont say he is an avarage striker now, i said compared to a real great strikers he is an avarage. Atm moment he is a top level striker of course. thanks to his speed and positioning, his finishing is not top-level though

Pretty sure Pele surpasses that (2 seasons - I think) considering his norm was 50-80 goals a season.

Pele went to Santos when he was 15. I doubt he reached the 100 goal mark by 18.

Only on paper. i dont remember when last time he scored his goals as a winger from wings. he scores his goals in box area from 10-15 m distancesGiggity5313 wrote:He's a wingerbillionmillion wrote:Yes in madrid he can score 53 because in another team he will not get 10 penalties in one season. again if higuain started all games and took all penalties he would score more than him last seasonBiasedMilanFan3 wrote:billionmillion wrote:Do you really think he is a high level scorer? Robben scores his goals in the middle after cutting in, whats your point?billionmillion wrote:Only on paper. i dont remember when last time he scored his goals as a winger from wings. he scores his goals in box area from 10-15 m distancesGiggity5313 wrote:He's a wingerbillionmillion wrote:Yes in madrid he can score 53 because in another team he will not get 10 penalties in one season. again if higuain started all games and took all penalties he would score more than him last seasonBiasedMilanFan3 wrote:billionmillion wrote:Do you really think he is a high level scorer? Re: Would CR7 be the fastest player to reach a century for any club
after cutting in means he came from wings and scored a goal. robben doesnt become a CF when theres a chance to score or when team counter attacks. in madrid main scoring force is ronaldo he will automatically become a CF when theres a chance to score, same like messi does in barca. he plays in midfield but when theres a chance he runs forward to striker position

Re: Would CR7 be the fastest player to reach a century for any club
Actually, ronaldo has more of a free role, but he's still a winger, and he's NOT a striker.billionmillion wrote:after cutting in means he came from wings and scored a goal. robben doesnt become a CF when theres a chance to score or when team counter attacks. in madrid main scoring force is ronaldo he will automatically become a CF when theres a chance to score, same like messi does in barca. he plays in midfield but when theres a chance he runs forward to striker position
Ronaldo = winger
Higuain, benzema = strikers.
Ronaldo is an excellent winger who is a good goal scorer, not the other way around.
I see what your trying to say though.

Re: Would CR7 be the fastest player to reach a century for any club
how is he a winger? he is a left striker. scoring from ronaldos position is way easier for him. because ronaldo can shoot from left side easily and make danger, in center he needs great first touch and finishing abilities.Giggity5313 wrote:Actually, ronaldo has more of a free role, but he's still a winger, and he's NOT a striker.billionmillion wrote:after cutting in means he came from wings and scored a goal. robben doesnt become a CF when theres a chance to score or when team counter attacks. in madrid main scoring force is ronaldo he will automatically become a CF when theres a chance to score, same like messi does in barca. he plays in midfield but when theres a chance he runs forward to striker position

Its not hard to play as a cf position if he wants, they bench higuain and play benzema, so go play as a cf.whats problem? and he wants to score more than anybody. But from his position its easier for him to score. he is not comproftable in cf position means he is not profitable there

Actually he did, I checked the figures and he scored 41 goals in 38 non-friendly appearances in his first season, and scored 66 goals in 46 games in his second season.
Also that's pretty much /thread
