Juventus Shopping Center 'Area12' opens!

Less than two months after the opening ceremony, the Juventus Stadium has found a valuable ally in the mission of ‘changing football’. This evening, the shopping centre Area12 has been opened, just close to the facility, allowing the public to live the stadium seven a week.

For the official debut, Nordiconad organized a real gala, welcomed with enthusiasm by the whole city. First, special guests and authorities’ representatives had the chance to enjoy the wonderful store gallery in advance, along with the stadium itself and its posts which embellished the scenery. Moreover, they also had the opportunity to access the pitch of the Juventus Stadium, the latter being the sole desirable destination for those who participated in this special event.

The gala was also attended by Juventus’ President Andrea Agnelli, Managing Director Aldo Mazzia and Commercial Director Francesco Calvo, along with Claudio Carchisio who, following the usual greetings to the authorities and the ribbon cutting, officially inaugurated the shopping centre, shooting a ball among the thousand people attending the event, thus symbolically ‘kicking off’ the mall opening. And then, a wonderful light and sound spectacle started, with the outer walls of the shopping centre being livened up by a sequence of amazing, evocative images.

In that moment, the doors of Area12 were opened to the public, who immediately filled restaurants and shops. The Juventus Store - which will be officially opened on 2 November and which was previously visited by President Agnelli - played a key role giving a foretaste of what will happen every time Juventus will get on the pitch at their stadium, and all over the week as well. Area12 will be open from Monday to Saturday until 9:30pm, and on Sunday from 9am to 9pm, thus giving Turin inhabitants and visitors - especially those Bianconeri fans coming from outside - the chance to spend a good time in an unusual combination of sport and shopping. Therefore, ‘the stadium which changes football’ will continue its mission.
