Chiellini not a Juve problem

Giorgio Chiellini’s agent has defended his client – and brother – from criticism being thrown at the Juventus stopper.

The Italian international has had a tough start to the campaign and his performance against Genoa on Saturday was questioned by some in the media.

“He made mistakes and it’s right to accept criticism,” Claudio Chiellini told Tuttosport. “Giorgio is the first to be critical of himself.

“However, the media attacks seems a little excessive and it seems as if they are looking for a scapegoat,” he continued.

“It is being made out to seem that Juventus’ problem is Chiellini. It’s true that he’s making errors, like against Catania and against Chievo, but he was the best defender in Italy for three years.

“These are just episodes, all unfortunate ones as every time they happen Juventus concede a goal.

“But don’t forget that he has given a lot to Juventus over the last six years.”

Chiellini, a centre-back, is currently being used on the left by boss Antonio Conte give his lack of options at full-back.

with these assumptions and excuses, chielini's agent is qualified to join this forum!

this is what need to reminded to everyone

JUVENTUS fans need to protect our important players confidence;

substituting a player who isn't performing well it is what all people expect but that effects players confidence like the situation with KRASIC;

a great example is how BARCELONA fans always support MESSI even when sometimes he had some bad days; they still treated him like a best player in the world without doubts - and that motivate him and give him a hand to get back on doing great:

if you drop; CHIELLINI, KRASIC, MATRI, MARCHISIO: from starting XI then
what the F you expecting???? what the F you are talking about JUVENTUS Results anyway you don't care about that

I am against CONTE of dropping important players too easy there should be more patience on them

I agree that players like; PEPE, GIACHERINI, are performing well but what the F: how the hell did they play all these games anyway ?

you can't be patience even 2 games for an important player like KRASIC

Its not his problem, it's was Lichstiener's fault for not blocking the cross.

I want De Ceglie back to leftback and Chiellini back to centerback.

I'm sorry but Chiellini doesn't contribute anything to the attack, can barely cross the ball and is hardly effective defensively. He's a monster centerback and I want him back, even at the expense of Bonucci.

De Ceglie is supposed to have his breakthrough season, let's give him the chance.

lol .... bonucci was sent to buy juice from the genoa players 2 times and Chiellini had to cover from LB to CB and he failed to follow his mark and its Lichts fault ?

It was Pirlo's wrong pass and Marchisio beign invisible for whole that was our problem

When De Ceglie wakes up, and realizes that he can live up to his full potential, then and only then we should utulize him.

When was it the last time Pirlo and Marchisio been rested? Them being invisible was hardly the case.

When was it the last time Pirlo and Marchisio been rested? Them being invisible was hardly the case.

yes it was midfield gave no support to the defense end of it ....so it had to do something with it. so sorry no excuse here

Actually there is no need for the excuse, because for a few factors. One, the midfield was not the main problem in yesterday's game, second both Marchisio and Pirlo have not gotten in rest since September, although the midfield was somewhat struggling, Vidal was injured, so they were the best options no matter what.

and the midfield failed to give support to the defense. Liek it was against PArma and Milan. So yes the midfield was one of the problems for the concided goals .. Sub MArchisio for PAzzienza . I am sure he will do better than tired marchisio
