Villareal deserve everything they get this year for selling Cazorla the heart and soul of there team. They had an option, sell Rossi or Cazorla and they chose wrong. Rossi has been talking about getting out of Villareal for the last 3 seasons and Cazorla has been with them since he was a teenager and carried that team for years.
Also, kudos to Levante.

They should have made the deal with Barcelona for Rossi, they got greedy, and they messed up.

Consider the fact that their average age is around 30.63 which is the oldest in the league.

This was their big mistake. Remember that theyre just a small provincial side who have been massively punching over their weight in recent years.
Levante, theyve just been smashing everything in their way. IMO theyre the best team dressed in blaugrana this year...

Yea, I saw a thread comparing Levante to Newcastle (maybe it's this one) but the difference like you said is they are smashing teams. I mean there good for a couple goals a game so when you play them you better be ready to score some goals or you will lose.

Levante have managed to gather the most points in La Liga in 2011, that's 10 months now. This is no passing fad.....

The real question is could they win on a cold night at the Britannia vs Stoke?

Hmmmm.... if Villareal held City to a 1-1 tie until the 94th minute in Manchester, and City beat United 6-1, how badly would Levante beat United?

What's "We don't take this shit lying down, bitches." in Spanish? Levante should make it their motto.

In a hugely inappropriate and trivialising comparison, I'm going to say that Levante are the Rosa Parks of La Liga.

They are an 11-man protest against duopoly, an inconvenient truth reminding the big two that 18 other clubs exist outside of their sphere.

Re: Villareal 0 - 3 Levante
It wont last though, not with their extremely old squad. Theyre just as broke as the other Spanish teams. IMO they will do well to finish in the top half of the table come the end of the season.

You do realise they have been performing like this for 10 months?
They have the most points in the whole of 2011......
Barca and Madrid dont stand a chance.

If they can secure an European spot by season's end I'll be mightily impressed.
They're too broke to do a Málaga, though

You do realise there was a summer in between for their players to rest?
It would be nice if they could actually translate this good form and end with a European place, but I just dont see it happening. Top-mid table IMO. I hope Im proven wrong though.
