Villareal deserve everything they get this year for selling Cazorla the heart and soul of there team. They had an option, sell Rossi or Cazorla and they chose wrong. Rossi has been talking about getting out of Villareal for the last 3 seasons and Cazorla has been with them since he was a teenager and carried that team for years.

They should have made the deal with Barcelona for Rossi, they got greedy, and they messed up.

This was their big mistake. Remember that theyre just a small provincial side who have been massively punching over their weight in recent years.

Levante, theyve just been smashing everything in their way. IMO theyre the best team dressed in blaugrana this year... Very Happy

Yea, I saw a thread comparing Levante to Newcastle (maybe it's this one) but the difference like you said is they are smashing teams. I mean there good for a couple goals a game so when you play them you better be ready to score some goals or you will lose.

It wont last though, not with their extremely old squad. Theyre just as broke as the other Spanish teams. IMO they will do well to finish in the top half of the table come the end of the season.

You do realise there was a summer in between for their players to rest?

It would be nice if they could actually translate this good form and end with a European place, but I just dont see it happening. Top-mid table IMO. I hope Im proven wrong though.
