Matri: 'Juve deserved the win'

Alessandro Matri feels Juventus deserved to beat Genoa this evening, though is content with his brace.
“I put myself at the disposal of the Coach, so if the goals arrive then that’s even better,” said the striker.

“I try to give 100 per cent to help the team succeed.”

He twice put the Bianconeri ahead only to be pegged back 2-2 at the Juventus Stadium.

“We had the game in hand for 90 minutes, as I only remember Genoa’s two goals and a shot from distance that were really threatening.

“You pay a price for these situations. Tonight we didn’t deserve to only pick up one point.

Chiellini's defensive positioning was a disaster today! I saw Esti covering him so many times coz he had ventured too far forward! I am sure Conte will f*ck the whole team up for throwing away the lead 2 times!

Matri has done so much for the team today. He has been great today. Hope to see Matri + ADP or Matri + Quags next time though. Vucinic was terrible, I wouldn't even give the assist for him because it was more like Pirlo's usual magic that created the real chance.

Vucinic is not a worthy player, as made blatantly clear today. Estigarribia is not quality either. Matri was on form and was an absolute threat out there from the first minute to the ninetieth.

I believe this team has huge qualities, you can see that if you consider how much easy they can create chances if they want to

but the problem is the mindset of some players

KRASIC has gave up; he doesn't care anymore about performing well

VUCINIC got too comfortable with only two good games

these kind of players should understand that JUVENTUS don't want to win some games but want to win the tittle; if they don't have the same vision they should leave the club

Cmon man, vuci already has saved our ass a few times. Today who set up Matri's goal. Besides pirlo's brilliant dummy. How can u judge esti after 1 game and especially a game he did well in. Look mate i share alot of your views and all but lately uve said some very strange and stupid things

Vucinic is a quality player, though he is lazy... however... then again Aguero and Rossi are much more superior of course.

Estigarribia has lots of potential and skill, then again I prefer him over Giac. Or, let's be realistic here. Get Giovinco and Pasquato, and give back both Esti and Giac to their clubs as they are both loaned and co-owned.

Matri should be playing for Italy, over that shameless Osvaldo.

I agree on most of that sciacca. Osvaldo shameless? In a way yes, he said how much he loves italy but yet he drives a car with the argentine colours

What the hell has Osvaldo deserved for him to get a call up over Matri?

Esi was great in the 2nd half he dribbled so many ppl and sent do many crosses to Matri on target ...

I wouldn't judje Esti either after this match, he still might be quality or flop. He was pretty good in the 2nd half imo.
Vucinic's play always depends on his mood.. unreliable but real quality when he REALLY wants to play.

I think that Vuci is used more as SS and creator of chances you can notice that he always passes the ball when inforont of goal he only shoots when there is no other option ... who knows we shall see until Jan everything should be clear
