Spurs set pieces have been piss poor. City have only had a few but looked far more dangerous.

Another big European game where Kun Scrubguero flops. Literally does nothing if he cant get the usal tap in and shoots from daft ranges.

Kane is an exceptional long passer. You won't believe it when you see him but some of the passes and cross field balls he comes out with are ridiculous.

Not particularly a good thing either as the urgency should be with them.
If this ends 0-0 it's not a good result for Spurs at all.

Onoy comfortable thing for City has been Spurs ridiculous set pieces. Everything else has City shaken. They keep making so many fouls and the fullbacks are getting torn. Another ref would have sent off Fernandinho.

nah I think Spurs are having a lot of the ball around the City box but they just aren't forcing even a half chance with it, quite wasteful really
agree that they really need something from the game tonight as Pep surely won't play like this at home

Re: UEFA Champions League QF 18/19: Tottenham Hotspur FC v Manchester City
Pep is not trying to play like this. He got outdone by Pochettino. Before the penalty they looked like usual City. Then the momentum shifted, the game settled and Spurs had a better plan. They haven't created so many clear chances but they totally stifled City, which is a great way to start a tie.

Let's see how the team comes out. Pep needs to calm his players down.

Nice of City to let Son turn and get a shot away.
I've been really disappointed by them tonight. All their forwards look off.

Mahrez has been doing his best Sanchez impression by cutting inside and lumping crosses into the box all game.

Two mins to go and NOW Pep brings on Sane and De Bruyne.
What is it with him and away CL games?

It's how Pep always gets these weird, wonky ideas every time he passes the r16.
