I have thought about giving GL's layout a makeover.

But I don't think it's a good idea. It's not about the time it will take or anything (we are looking at 2020 or so if i start tomorrow) but it's just that we have had this design for 7 years. Why change it?

last page is there for me. i use safari for this site and chrome for everything else

Mobile is fine, you just have to select web version when you load GL
