if Madrid wins again next year, they will have more UCL titles than Arsenal has EPL titles loool, and double UCL titles as the next most UCL winning team Milan.

UEFA should get rid of FFP and allow billionaires to invest in more small clubs so all the *bleep* talent is not just hoarded by two super elite clubs in Madrid Barca.

you can't look at it that way, it's a short sighted argument.

You have to remember that we started the project by blowing through the trnsfer ceiling for a player and signing CR. then the same summer we signed Kaka, benzema, etc... at the time, that was the most money spent in one summer ever.

And then we blew threw that ceiling again signing Bale.

This team was never created on a budget, it was created by spending a lot of money throughout the past 10 years or so, but there were some extremely smart spending, like Kroos, Isco, Modric, Varane; and relying on player development like with Marcelo, Carvajal, Casemiro.

It's a combination of all those things, but we very much broke the transfer record twice on our way here. We just reached an equilibrium 5 years ago with a core team, and there was no need to spend a lot.

I actually expext Liverpool to come back stronger. i am impressed with klopps work with liverpool.
