Re: Leroy Sané Fan Club
He literally only starts against the small PL teams. Fact is he hasn't started a single important game this season. Mahrez and Sterling are Pep's big game wingers.

That's an assumption based on nothing but something you conjured up in your head tbh.

Re: Leroy Sané Fan Club
In the last 2 season Pep said something about Sane, A. he goes MIA in a lot of games for his liking, B. he is a difficult personality to deal with at times (I mean a guy who has a tattoo of himself who would've thought ) and certain bad habits he deosn't like of his. Mahrez was bought in to give him competition not Sterling.

v Arsenal: bench

Only PL and CL I looked at. He is clearly rotational though.

I assumed Mole was not serious with his post but yea, Sane is not going to start a match which is even slightly important.

Thanks for bringing that out. Apart from the Hoffenheim game my claim was correct. So I'm not sure how that was an assumption based on nothing.
As for the Sane situation, well City defend better and have better control with Mahrez and Sterling inverted. It could also have something to do with Mendy, but Mendy has been playing much more narrow and disciplined in the last few weeks. It also has to do with form. There's a bunch of factors in play.
Obviously things can and may change but for now it seems like Sane is a rotation option who will get most of his games against the smaller teams.

He started 5 of the last 6 games before today, Mahrez started the last 3 but before that was on on the bench for 4 of the previous 5.
Most of you are being either over emotional like Cascia because he's a fan or in general just want to believe their own agendas.
There's no evidence over the past 6 weeks to support what you are posting, just what you want to believe.

Re: Leroy Sané Fan Club
No it isn't, over the last 6 weeks he's started more games than Mahrez.
Yet im supposed to believe he's some backup who needs to leave.
Like i said Cascia is being over emotional, these are the facts you can chose to ignore them if you want as you have so far.
You can claim this for the first month of the season if you want, but since then it has not been the case.
Yet im supposed to believe he's some backup who needs to leave.

Re: Leroy Sané Fan Club
There's only one game played in that time, Liverpool.
It made sense he didn't play there because how much they press and Sane has a tendency of turning the ball over at bad times.
Pep picked the best technical team available to restrict turnovers, like i said there's nowhere near enough evidence available to determine what Cascia was saying as fact.
Which is why i said what i said (making it up in your head) because there's no real evidence since Sane got more consistent game time they've only really played Liverpool before today.
Plus i wouldn't have started him against Liverpool for the same reasons anyway.

Re: Leroy Sané Fan Club
Is Mole purposefully ignoring the actual facts being presented? Sane clearly is being used in matches that aren't exactly threatening to Pep's team i.e he is rotational.

Has been consistently benched @Mole
Surely he has to consider leaving?
He absolutely deserves better than the treatment he's getting from Pep.

He has lol, also seems to have dented his confidence. Because when he did play in the final few games he was awful.
I don't really blame him for that though.

Re: Leroy Sané Fan Club
What he needs to do is work harder for the team when we haven't got the ball. There's absolutely no point Aguero and Sterling pressing the ball if a defender has the option of passing to a right back because Sane is 15 yards away not grafting.
Aguero was the same when Pep first came to the club, now look at him, fully bought into closing down the opposition and winning the ball back asap. Mahrez was the same. If you're not prepared to work you don't play.
Look at yesterday, 4-1 up 5 minutes away from winning the title and both Bernardo Silva who is immense and works like no other and Mahrez back defending like their lives depend on it.

you don't deserve anything in football, you either put in the work to convince your coach or you don't. If he wanted guaranteed playing time he shouldn't go to a star studded team where he has to compete for his spot.Hapless_Hans wrote:Has been consistently benched @Mole

Re: Leroy Sané Fan Club
This could be due to a lack of both confidence and game time but Sane's changed as a player this season.
He doesn't take on his man anymore and he rarely attacks the byline. He doesn't even dribble inside like he did a lot last season to great effect.
He literally passes the ball and runs in the channel. Against Leicester, the cameras panned to Pep shouting at him like five different times to stay wide and hug the touchline instead of clogging up the middle with inside runs.
Then again that's the role he plays with Germany now. Seems to me that's what he prefers. I've always felt he could be an end product machine. He should go somewhere else and play as a RW and become a wide forward because all Pep sees him as is a touchline hugging winger.
