Leroy Sané

I've been wondering for months how that he hasn't been poached by a big team already. Anyone who watches Schalke knows that this kid is already, at just 19, an awesome player, probably the biggest prospect in the world at the moment. He's an absolute joy to watch : sick technique and dribbling skills, composed in front of goal, very good passing combined with good vision, great decision making and movement. Can play anywhere in the front 3 and also as a striker.

He also has dat superstar look :

Leroy Sané wasn't poached because he doesn't want to be poached yet. His family lives in the Ruhr Area and he doesn't really want to move away from his family yet.

According to Horst Heldt, there was big offer by Liverpool in the Summer, but the player and the club said "no thanks". This is helped as his father is his agent, and Souleyman Sané wants his son to first develop properly at Schalke.

He's a monster. Absolute delight to watch.

I don't know about the truth of the rumors that we were interested, but I'd like to point out that we didn't have Klopp in the summer. I'm sure he'd come now if we were still interested.

I'm not sure. Leroy Sané is always portrayed as a family guy, and you should remember that he's only 19 and his kid brother plays in the Schalke youth, too. He's very grounded and knows that he needs to play lots to develop. I doubt he will take the risk to go to some bigger club's bench just for more money.

I was very impressed with him vs. Real Madrid. However, he seemed to lack pace. For us he would have to play more as an Iniesta than a forward and I'm not sure if he can do it there. Also, his stats are ok but not very impressive.

Same was said about Draxler.

Let the kid just play his football. Hype kills.

Literally how bad is l'equipe nowadays?

Schalke only confirmed yesterday Sane doesnt have any buyout clause.

“There is no buyout clause in force for Sané, neither for this winter nor for the summer,” the Schalke sports director, Horst Heldt, said on Twitter after reports of a possible departure.

Marin, Kroos, Reus, Gotze, Volland, Draxler, Meyer, Brandt, Werner, etc.

Best German talent in years? I think that's taking it a bit far. All of these guys were hyped quite a bit to varying degrees of success and are not that old.

The real best German talent is Johannes Eggestein.

I mean, he has always looked capable to me, but never anything overly special.

I suppose that is what happens when you score a crazy goal against Madrid.
