i don't know, my mindset hasn't been set on him going because, as i mentioned a new manager would need to bring in new players to execute his ideas, which we can't do anytime soon. so i really hope we do not go that route. last thing we need is yet another stop gap. my main gripe was that he didn't use the transfer window, when there were positions that needed reinforcement. although there are people who say it wasn't his decision...i don't know (and no, i did NOT want us to spend 120 million on one player)

Top of the table and unbeaten in the league, yet most of RM fans have been lamenting about him all season long, go figure

For those who only check the Gen Section we have a thread in our section titled "In [OP's] history Zidane's Real Madrid is the worst footballing side [OP has] seen"

some real madrid fans dislike zidane for his style of play, more so than his results am i wrong?

pretty much, besides, the title of that thread is ridiculous. the thread in itself actually spawn some interesting discussions about football in general

No they dislike zidane line up, and using the rocky start to bash him in typical Madrid fan fashion

I don't think anyone is saying RM are playing champagne football, but it is absurd- especially given some of our previous managers, and the *relative* success under Zidane to make threads/ posts with such kneejerk

if a fan doesn't like the style in which the team plays surely it's fine to complain about it, no?

if football was all about results then atletico madrid would have on of the biggest fan base in the world.

Zidane style isn't the problem imo, it's was the form and fitness of the starting line up, that caused the draws, now the team is slowly picking up steam the style of play is look much sharper.

I understand you are a Barca fan- have you watched us play under Mourinho, Juande Ramos, Benitez, Capello?

It's fine to complain about style but let's put it into perspective. We have had some awful managers, and have played awfully defensive. Surely Zidane is not the worst we have had in any viewer's history unless they started watching football in June 2013 and stopped watching June 2015- Jan 2016 and started watching again.

well real madrid fans are one of the most demanding, you guys constantly brag about that. it's only logical that some people will expect perfection despite the things you have said.

there was an outcry that luis enrique doesn't play like Pep or whatever despite him winning the treble.
i think it's dumb personally but i understand why it happens.

I think rm fans being the most demanding has clearly gotten to their heads, to the point that the most basic things that happens to every elite team, starts worst ever or sell everybody posts, its like their hoping for the team to get relegated or something.

Bruh mou team was horrible concede possession to bottom clubs for counters, teams let's us have the ball then looks completely lost, but then again when all you care about is if cr is scoring or not, let's leave out the details

well, in the last 10 years there have been only 2 periods when I felt like we were 100% the best team in europe. that was the second half of 11/12 and the entire 2014. and i can't say that i didn't enjoy the fast paced football that mourinho instilled in our team. it was fantastic at some point. if not for the Barca game between the Bayern CL matches and Cacktrao's blunder in the first leg we would've won the CL that year.

that madrid side in mou's second year was very good. hell, i thought we would legit win ucl that year. three players with over 20 goals in the league, ozil and di maria assisting and capable back ups in every spot....mourinho should really kick himself for messing things up the following year. you're supposed to build on the good things you have, not wreck it. we were a counter attacking team as we still are but i got used to it.

we even had kaka coming off the bench, showing flashes of brilliance here and there, albeit only against la liga sides. and atleti could never dream of beating us in that time....only for mourinho and his nonsense to throw that all away in the third year

however, its very unfair to zidane to compare both teams. a lot of the guys he is coaching now are 4-5 years older than they were in 2011/2012. like it or not it makes a huge difference. that year and the year we won la decima (especially middle of the season in decima), i thought we were europe's best....i wish we had won la liga in the decima year, but so many years without a ucl title, i understood the sacrifice (yes, i think we sacrificed the league late on to focus on europe)

You said you wish you had their problem. their problem is that they fully rely on individual talent to bail them out. Very little offensive tactical intelligence involved other than get the ball to your stars to make something happen.

You do the same. Except you don't have a BBC or Isco, Modric, James, Kroos.
