as a Liverpool fan I have over the years hated Neville. but as a pundit I think he comes across as a nice guy and he knows what hes talking about. and I wish him well in his new job. Thumbs up

But no EL would be bad for Valencia no?

Hell, the massive amount they spent in summer they were probably aiming at 4th spot.

Anyway, maybe Neville will be fantastic. Though my feeling is he'll be kind of meh.

It was always a possibility considering that most of the squad is really bad, not really the case with Valencia.

Good point. After all, Valencia are 3rd in global 15/16 net spending, while Newcastle are only 6th Molenation

Lol we needed to spend that because of how bad the squad was ( and still is we have like 4 good players), i didn't get on Pardew for that final year as the squad was abysmal but everything before that.

I find it kind of silly that just because the guy is a class pundit most people assume he's going to be a good manager just because of that.

Reading the game from a tv screen and implying your own tactics and ideas onto the pitch through 11 players is not exactly the same thing you know

Yeah I agree. Just saying that he has more chance of doing well than bad, although that's not guaranteed. It's gonna be interesting that's for sure.
