Bauza takes off Enzo who is the only one that was generating play. Puts in Aguero, because when you need to score you put in another forward, it's soccer 101. Nevermind that the remaining midfielders are 2 DMs and Angel "Turnover" Di Maria.

Zaba just recovered a little esteem

So long Bauza. You will not be missed.

Since AFA cannot be trusted to pick a coach I will put myself forward. I will do it for half the salary, a bargain!

We really need some new central mids.

Can't believe RG is supporting Argentina. Sad

Have to agree here. Argentia being more terrible is why the scoreline is 3-0, its not like Brazil is playing anything fantastic.

Yeah this could have been much worse than 3-0. The result actually flatters us.

What is Zabaleta still doing on the field? Even Marcelo is owning him now, and Mercado is on the bench!

Should've been 6-0 now Laughing

Almost wish this had been the case so that Bauza would have been fired immediately, but we would never live off the banter from Brazilians.

He really is.

He started Funes Mori and ADM, both of awful form.

He kept Higuain on for 90 minutes, and did not call up Icardi.

He kept Zabaleta on for 90 minutes, with Mercado on the bench and doing great for Sevilla.

He called up Lavezzi, who moved to China and has not played in 4 months. His rationale? "He is good for the team chemistry". He made the bench...

He took off the only midfielder capable of generating play and doing well at HT, effectively making our midfield 2 DMs and Angel "lose the ball" Di Maria for half the match.

He played Aguero-Messi-Higuain, in spite of these all being the same profile of player and never working well together in the past 6 years.

I never thought I would miss Martino...

Worst part is no replacement would agree to come until at least June, so we're stuck with him. Even if he resigns we'll be *bleep*.

Argentina! Crying or Very sad Thought we had finally gotten over NT scrubs like Aguero and Higuain after the events followed the last copa America. Why are they still playing ffs. And Messi. well.. He shouldnt have 'unretired' out of spite of cr7 lifting the Euros. Argentina needs fresh blood and have been needing them for a while now.
Build the team around Dybala. Now is the time.

Tite is a really really good coach.the transitions from defense to attack were on point, everyone knew what to do in terms of movement and positioning. The CMs are lacking in passing and vision, but at least they are "exploited" to their best by Tite.

Argentina got wrecked.

Brasil were always favorites in this game. It's Argentina v Colombia in a few days where the pressure to win is really on.

Also if I was a Madrid fan I'd pissed about Marcelo, or his handling by some coaches, in Madrid. Under Tite he has been disciplined as hell. Last night he held position in defense as if he was being threatened at gunpoint. Neymar even looked a bit isolated on the wing at times because Marcelo was clearly instructed to stay deeper and control his runs. Great to see that he can be smart and adapt to a more defensive role.
