Yeah agreed. Our coaching quality in that regard has been shocking. Amazing that none of them have the balls to tell Aguero, Messi and Di Maria "when the midfield has the ball attempt a diagonal run to stretch the defense and create space".

Then again if we play a Banega-Kranevitter-Biglia midfield again I can see why they would think the pass would never make it to them in the first place...

Thiago Silva is still being scapegoated for everything that's gone wrong with the national team.

There's no grudge as far as I know. He was supposed to be called up this time but there was some confusion on the status of his injury with Zidane and the rest of the the Real staff saying one thing while Dunga and the Brasil staff saying the opposite.

Marcelo was a starter in the first qualifier against Chile but he was benched after that game for Felipe Luis. If you wanna see some clown defending from Marcelo watch Chile's second goal. He's just an awful defender. I get that he's great going forward but to me it's not worth having such a huge liability on the left side of your defense.
